Very cute game. I included it in my GMTK Game Jam 2019 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)
I'd like to see this game made with more ingredients. I know it wouldn't be Ramen Origins anymore then but maybe that would be one of the chapters. Or a story about a cook who started with the mighty ramen and got famous but started changing the recipe and either got good or bad reception for it. Either way he starts with this ramen and then it spirals from there.
The html5 version is a little bit laggy.
Also, I really like the game, and I hope I am not missing something, but where is the only one? Only one goal?
"Crafting/cooking game with only one recipe/dish" was the original idea.
Oh. Can't believe I missed that.
My terrible cooking skills in real life translated into the game XD. Loved it, either way! Great art and the music was so catchy. This was a fun little game!
this looks amazing but im on a mac D,:
there's a Mac version! :)
Just scroll down in the game page
oh. i feel kinda dumb now. I'll come back when I've played it, how long does it usually take?
10-20 minutes.
Okay, thanks! :D
Ok for a game made in a weekend, WOW. I can't wait for the next iteration, A tutorial will be nice
Sweet game with nice graphics. I liked the overall athmosphere, music and sound effects. Felt very polished.
But I would suggest to give the player an introduction to the mechanics with easier recipies. I think a big role model for your game was Overcooked. In the early levels you just have to craft easy recipes to get a grip for the chopping, cooking and so on.
But for 48hours quiete impressive. Nice work and keep on Jamming! :)
By the way here's the link to my game if you want to give it a try:

Cute game, something to make the player move faster would help combined with a better management of items next to each other. Also like you said make the tutorial in game.
Nonetheless, cool game!
This is a pretty complex game to build in 48 hours! I totally dig the graphics/sound and ability to grab and interact with all the different items. I think if you spent some time polishing this up it has the potential to be a commercial quality game, or at least a mini-game within a larger RPG or something like that. Great job!
Awesome game... good music....
Kindly, try mine and rate it https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2019/rate/431948
Not really my type of game, but the presentation and overall execution is really top-notch. Great entry, even if not my style ;)
