Awesome work, this is really fun! I especially love the explosion effects
I like the idea, the glitchy effects were cool as things got worse and worse.
The text boxes can use work. A custom font, and maybe a textbox so it's more readable. A lot of the text went off the screen I think.
I also think the meters aren't clear. Felt like the machines broke before they filled up all the way.
The minigame idea is cool, but I think it should be shorter, and also not be a failure if you lose it. IT should just boot you out to the main screen.
More sound effects would be nice. That one, loud explosion caught me off guard.
The dragging physics were weird, it kept picking up multiple things at the same time.
Nice idea, okay execution. I will say though, that I did keep replaying it to try and get my score higher, so even with the issues I still enjoyed playing it.
Thanks! I was planning to have much better meters and art that actually made sense in the context, but the deadline :(
Also, the text boxes were the next thing on my list when the deadline hit. I even had a cool font prepared.
Nice idea! The graphics effects are very cool.
Apart of the dragging wich feels a bit floaty, the game idea is great ! Keep it up 💪
CURRENT TOP HIGH SCORE: 929.
(Also I forgot to multiply score by Time.deltaTime, so uh...)
Reply if you get higher than this.
Challenge accepted! Got 929 after a few attempts. :D I like that the machines take longer to break on the tutorial mode, so you can get used to what tool fix each one. :)
I liked the minigame! but I just found it hard to drag around all those stuff while trying to be fast because the dragging action was slow I guess.
I found myself dying constantly within 10 or so seconds of the start. The systems are working as intended, but perhaps give the player more time to fix machines. Overall, I really enjoyed the chromatic aberration as time was running out. That was a great touch!
I included a "training" mode as part of the tutorial, but it should have been accessible through the menu too.
