Awesome submission, it's rare to see this level of polish in any pico-8 cart, let alone a celeste mod.  Looking forward to the next levels!

Really good! I love the idea and how the mechanics work together, and its polished pretty well

Cool idea! the art style works well here, but it would help to have a bit more enemy variety and maybe an auto restart

The idea is interesting, with having 2 players. There seems to be some sort of issue with how the inputs are being captured, but the game could definitely be expanded on.

Nice! The UI is really well designed and there's a good amount of polish overall.

Pretty cool! could definitely use some polish with the pattern and movement, but I liked the idea! This is definitely a game that could benefit from procedural generation, might want to look into that.

all i can say is that my headphone volume was at max when i started the game

cool game

I made a mod that lets you fly back up if you fall down.

When I was charging up the dash or shoot, I could see an enemy projectile heading towards me, but since there was no canceling, I couldn't move out of the way. I like that you can see the enemies charging up, but if you make a mistake, you can't stop it.

Cool visuals! The controls need a bit of work though.

Very good game! The quick restarts and fast gameplay make it really fun, and the story elements are interesting. Except for a short reprieve between bosses, the only thing missing is a good soundtrack!

This is very well designed! I like that there is a multiplayer option and the new mechanics fit in very well with the old ones! The enemy AI needs some work but the color switching mechanics and overall pace was nearly perfect.

Cool concept! If restarting was faster, the pace was quicker and there was more overall polish, this would make a great mobile game!

The game's broken for me :(

The artstyle is cool, although I didn't really understand what was going on. I followed the arrows, then a bunch of stuff exploded and instantly disappeared. A tutorial would be nice.

Awesome! The mechanics complement the theme well, but the music is a bit out of place. The zooming out at the end is a nice touch. This would be cool in multiplayer.

This is cool, but I would have put a tutorial, or at least a countdown since the action starts as soon as you press the play button. This would work well on mobile .

The concept is really cool, but the way movement and attacking is handled makes it seem a little unfair. Overall it's pretty good and works well with the theme.

Cool mechanic! The difficulty curve is a little steep though.

Thanks for giving it another chance! Don't worry about not getting through the last level though, I had like 30 minutes to make it and couldn't implement smart invisible barriers or pathfinding. It was supposed to be a chase sequence, where the green enemies followed you all the way to the end, but then you got the sword and could take them down.

Thanks! I had to rush the last 2 levels so the design was a bit lacking.

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the idea! I would have liked to have more levels and a better difficulty curve, but I missed most of the first day so some of the later levels were a bit rushed.

Cool concept, but the controls are a little bit awkward.

Cool! The concept is simple, but the game is very polished! The soundtrack works pretty well for the game. I think a little more air control would be good.

Awesome! Also, I somehow managed to create a machine that has a different outcome each time you play?

Thanks! I was planning to have much better meters and art that actually made sense in the context, but the deadline :(

Also, the text boxes were the next thing on my list when the deadline hit. I even had a cool font prepared.

Awesome!

CURRENT TOP HIGH SCORE: 929.

(Also I forgot to multiply score by Time.deltaTime, so uh...)

Reply if you get higher than this.

Really cool! I liked how some buttons were only accessible if you turned off other buttons, though it seemed sort of random. I think if there was a way to see the inaccessible buttons so you  could plan ahead.

The graphics are really cool and I liked the mechanic of your controls literally not working if you used them too much!

Awesome! I liked the movement and risk/reward system where going faster makes you more likely to damage the world.

I like the design and the game not needing a tutorial, but the spike hitboxes could be a little more forgiving.

This would work well as a mobile game! I like how you suddenly lose control.

I included a "training" mode as part of the tutorial, but it should have been accessible through the menu too.

Nice game! I like the graphics and how the mechanics are simple and intuitive.

You can hover over a resource to pick it up, but there is definitely a lack of feedback. Thanks!

The computer can get to level 5, but the asset only goes too level 4.
