Hey nice game! Felt good to play a more action/adventure game here since a lot of games in the jam seem more puzzle like (nothing wrong with that, just not my favorite genre). This reminded me almost like a light Zelda/Dark Souls/Openworld RPG type of game! Also made me think of that new game coming out, I thing Grounded or something where you play as a kid and there's life sized bugs and things. I did have a few issues though:

  • My very first attack locked my player into a single animation and I couldn't attack any more. I had to restart the game to fix. My second try though that didn't happen at all.
  • The sound is very very quiet. I turned my volume all the way up and could still barely hear it.
  • The bosses were pretty cool, would be nice to have a little more feedback. The last boss though was a bit annoying. Not sure what his melee attack was but I would dodge away twice from it and still get hit by him. It was irritating because I didn't see anything in game actually hitting me.
  • Not sure if there's an actual ending? I defeated the last boss and the fence opened up. I was able to go in and see the staircase, but I was blocked by some invisible wall about 20 feet in front of it. Made for a dissapointing end :(

Overall though I think it is quite impressive what you made in 48 hours! I think with a bit more polish this could be a super great game. Great work!

I kept getting this bug where I would suddenly lose the ability to attack and only restarting the game would fix it. This kept ruining my progress :( I walked enough to see the first boss though, nice name

Good map! Good idea, but I can't understand how fight works

I loved how much polish this one had!! It had a Zelda feel to it, which is fantastic
