Nice relaxing game. I like how you have to aim slightly off target when the crosshair is more up/down the river. Some sort of visual indicator to help you understand where you're aiming would be welcome. Check out our game if you get the chance. :)

I really like the loop of Pebble, trying to dial in your shot based on the uncontrollable element of the stream. It seems like you can rely on a certain amount of judgement and skill but the dynamic of accounting for the speed of the water adds a compelling level of complexity to aiming.

I think it could use an aesthetic pass, but otherwise this is a really solid game.

Thank you! I definitely agree with you on the aesthetic, I'm not much of an artist. xD I'm glad you enjoyed the gameplay, however.

I never encountered any reason not to go full-force with the pebble throw! Initially I thought I had to go at just the right speed to "land" on the opposite shore. That would have been too hard, but still, it could have been an interesting direction to go in for a challenge.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! Yes, the mechanic definitely needs some improvements. I might make a post-jam update with your suggestions. It's definitely an interesting idea!

loved the little splashing animation the rock did when hitting the water <3

but overall nice little game!

Developer

Thank you! I thought the animation might make the throws a bit more pleasing to look at.

Interesting idea! But there are a few bugs - first of all some targets are impossible to hit, secound, at times rock slows down even if it is not on the surface of the water...anyway, nice try!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! Yes, some targets are impossible to hit. I thought I had fixed that one, but it seems to still happen. The rocks slowing down even if they weren't on the water is an intentional mechanic, however. I thought i would make sense for a stone to stop skipping sometime after it gets out of the water. Anyway, thank you for giving it a try ;)

The idea of the game is really cool, the presentation is also good. Overall, a great, expandable game. Good job!

Developer

Thank you. I might expand it a little after the jam is over. ;)
