Very good quality, really cute and really easy to work with! Amazing work!

This is a very nice little game. It sure does get chaotic, especially after you play a while, and it can be pretty challenging. I also think it was an interesting decision to limit the shield to only face left and right, since that really makes you think about your position more, otherwise you end up in impossible situations. I also really liked the screen shake for when you get hit. It's a really unambiguous way to know you were hit. Really nice work!
P.S: How did you manage to force the game to run at a specific aspect ratio? I've been trying to do the same thing for a while, to no avail. :(
Aaand this post right here basically summarizes everything I failed to do with this game. The long fades basically boiled down to me not understanding Unity well enough to make them consistently long, and whenever I tested them before they seemed to be of reasonable length. The rest of the problems also have similar reasons. I managed to put myself in a corner by designing everything every mechanic so poorly that level designing was really difficult. :( Parking cars in the wrong spots to save them was just me not thinking enough when I explained the mechanics though.
Thank you for checking out my game, however! It's not the experience I wanted it to be, but I really appreciate any feedback I get!
This was a really great game, especially for a jam! Obviously, the gameplay loop itself is fun, but I also really liked the small touches. The hippo's expressions when something happened to the ship, the parallax scrolling present especially during take-off, and the best thing would be how obstacles double as collectables, making them basically extra armor shells. As for what I'd like to see improved (just nitpicks, really):
- When you get a lot of coins, the coin counting animation takes quite a while. I know it can be skipped, but I thought I should mention it.
- It's not immediately obvious what upgrades you can buy with the currency you have by that point, so maybe the ship UI could be touched up a bit, so you don't always have to read through all of them?
- As it has been pointed out, the game really ends quickly when some upgrades get to a high level. Is there any reason why the game couldn't go on beyond 330,000 feet? I wanted to see how far I could push the More Water Horsepower upgrade, but I couldn't collect any more rain.
That's about it, just really minor things. Obviously in a jam you can't get everything perfectly, and what you managed to do is already insane. Keep up the great work!
This is a really polished game, which is always impressive to see in a jam! I must say, the idea of mixing chemicals to get different colors is really cool, and the visuals made the process really pretty! The music also fit the atmosphere of the game perfectly, so props to everybody who worked on the artistic side. On the programming side, I must say I really enjoyed the tutorial. It's a small addition that's done really well and really adds something to the experience. Maybe it's just me, but it makes the game seem even more polished. And while at first I wasn't convinced, this game devolves into pure chaos pretty quickly. I had some difficulty getting the proper colors, but I suppose that's just a testament to its challenging nature. I suppose the one real complaint I'd have is the lack of a Fullscreen mode, but that really isn't much. Good job, it's my favourite game of the jam so far!
Wow! This game is something! Somehow it manages to stay chaotic while making you feel like you are making a difference and not being frustrating. It takes a bit of time to get into it, but after that, it's very fun. As for the presentation, what more needs to be said? The game looks incredible! Give it some solid sound design (the only thing that was lacking, unless my speakers are broken), and this game would be REALLY solid outside the jam. Congratulations to the developers!
I don't have the time to finish the game right now, but I can see all he thought that was put into it. Easily the most original game I've sen in this game, and one of the most intriguing. I'll definitely be getting back to this, and will be following you to see what else you have in store! My only criticism would be that the presentation could have been done a little better. The browser isn't exactly the best, for these kinds of things, but the fact that you managed to get it working like this is incredible. Great game!
This is a really cool game! The graphics are cute and the audio matches their cuteness. The gameplay is also very nice, and I could see this working as an addicting mobile game. The only thing I change is to pause the game until the player reads all of the instructions. I was sort of confused the first few timesI got to the night stage. Aside from that, this is a great game!
Thank you for the feedback! Yes, some targets are impossible to hit. I thought I had fixed that one, but it seems to still happen. The rocks slowing down even if they weren't on the water is an intentional mechanic, however. I thought i would make sense for a stone to stop skipping sometime after it gets out of the water. Anyway, thank you for giving it a try ;)
This is a nice game that puts your dodging skills to the test. The premise is simple, but fun. My only issue with it is the lack of collisions between the player and the colored blocks. For most of the level, you can just hide behind them and eliminate any challenge, but given the time constraints, it's perfectly understandable. Good game!
The game has a cool idea, I must say. The levels it has are fun to figure out and play, and they are all unique, which is a definite plus. It also has its fair share of shortcomings though, such as the playable character getting stuck in walls sometimes (unless it was intentional, case in which, I understand why it's there) or the lack of a fullscreen mode (unless I just couldn't find it, lol).
This is a fantastical game! I've had an absurd amount of fun playing it. It has a nice implementation of turn-based combat with a varied set of abilities that you can combine to get the best advantages. There are a few places where you can get stuck if you are not careful, and (unless I'm missing something) have to start over, but leaving that aside, this game offers a really solid experience. GOod job!
