How does your game fit the theme?
The player is not the main character. Instead, they are a lowly NPC shop keeper with little control over larger events. They are at the whim of their customers: the Hero and the Villain.

Wow, played it for so long without realizing I could scroll the shop down, haha. My big question is why I am unable to see the Hero's required stats while shopping for new supply. It is also frustrating to be only able to sell the Hero one piece of equipment at a time, making loss of health often seem unavoidable. The dark lord also seems somewhat pointless as one can refuse to serve him at every turn. It would be interesting if he actually did offer appealing amounts of money to tempt the player into selling to him. The concept is very interesting to me and my playthrough was fun, if a bit clunky.

Developer

Big answer: developer oversight. Whoops! Thank you for the feedback. The Dark Lord is definitely underbaked. Definitely will keep this in mind for future games. I'm glad you had fun nonetheless!

It's a interesting game, kinda wished it flowed a bit better. That said if anything it reminds me of long live the queen in that we are indirectly part of the main character's quest or our actions indirectly have consequences down the line and you need the foresight to address it.

I hope you had fun working on it!
