Good try! I think if you animate somethings or make the interaction more dynamic it’s should be better. But that’s the way :).

I think you should develop it more but it is a fun concept having to balance your resources to keep the earth at the right temperature!

Congrats on your first game jam game! I think you nailed it on the most important thing for a game jam which is having a finished game, it’s definitely not an easy task for 48h only. The frame rate seem to be too low and there’s not much feedback on the clicks other than the sound giving the impression that it’s not doing anything. At first i thought the things you buy could be bought only once by the name you gave them like joining the illuminati or corrupt politics for instance. On the second try i learned to watch the money constantly so i could strategize on what to click. On the third try everything was working very nicely and i reached a point where even by constantly clicking the join the illuminati button the money would never reach 0 and the sun began to freeze but i couldn’t restore its heat even after clicking on it many times but i guess that’s intended otherwise it would be no end after reaching this point. Other thing i really miss is the number to show how much you earn per time. I think improving the feedback on the clicks and showing the amount you’re earning per time would be 2 simple things that would greatly improve the game.

First of all, thank you very much for the advice. The low "frame rate" is caused buy the update calculations only being every second, which I didn't think was a problem at the time of programming. The buttons would be so easy to fix, especially with Unity's UI system. I had a feeling that the buttons were not perfect, but I forgot to improve them. The millions per second text would be a amazing addition that didn't even cross my mind. These are great ideas, and I am planning to add them and uploading them after the jam voting period.

Press buttons and optimise in your head; not particularly interesting
