It was not immediately obvious how to 'play' the game, but I figured it out. Though, I still had a hard time figuring out how changing the setting would lead to certain endings. For instance, is an ending tied to one setting being on/off or multiple? What happens if multiple endings are possible with the configured settings? So, perhaps a 'default' button for the settings would be useful. Some sound would be a welcome addition as well.
