My main gripe with this game is the control menu, believe it or not. The white text on the background made it really hard to read. So hard I missed the part where I could toggle to full screen, which really helped my second attempt at the game (I totally ran in to a rat as I didn't see it, being too small and too similar in colour to the ground).
Besides that, puzzles were decently challenging and the music was oddly fitting.
Oh, sorry about that, my bad, I didn't think about readability.
A simple enough game, but good nonetheless. The music choice was good, the art all fit together well, and the puzzles design was pretty good. My only real suggestion would be to make it so that WASD can be held down to move, so that you don't have to press it again for every single tile.
Thanks! I know, sorry about being unable to hold keys, I wanted to implement that, but you know, 48 hours and such. If I end up doing anything with this game post jam I'll make sure to do that.
Gladly surprised by the game, at first I thought it as the typical game with two characters with the same controls but the level design is pretty good, specially the last level is pretty clever, had a hard time completing it.
Thank you! Yeah the last one is pretty hard, I figured out it was possible, then later in play testing was unable to beat it for a few minutes :P
Love the old-school feel and graphics and I love that theme was really the central part of the gameplay. That was fun! I could sit and play that for a long time.
