Excellent game! Love the artstyle as many have said, and the subtle choice of having a different sound effect for the second jump was great. Very atmospheric soundtrack - my only real criticism is that you didn't call it Cat GPT :)

Yes, all very valid criticisms. I did mean to move that platform in the underground because I noticed that as well, but I guess I forgot - sorry. Thanks for playing!

Great game! Mechanics are fun and its satisfying to learn the level layout - my only feedback is that it's a little frustrating to get hit almost immediately upon entering a room. I know its a side effect of the procedural generation (which is really cool, by the way), but a lot of the damage I took felt like there was nothing I could do about it.

just did!

additionally, I would suggest speaking to all the elders, as almost all of them provide useful information for progression, and might help you get over that wall :)

Hi, so it turns out there was a number of bugs due to the difference between the web build and the windows build I was developing on, but I just uploaded a bugfix and everything should run smoothly now - sorry about that!

the main battle mechanics are extremely inventive and a lot of fun! This was great

cool game! loved the music, but it did not loop :( I made it to wave 8!

Pretty fun game! The different ways you use the ingredients was great, but was it impossible to get 100 on the first level? I couldn't find enough ingredients...

thanks so much! the celeste comparison means a lot :)

thank you! yeah some sections are very difficult :)

thanks! yeah, I don't really know why I made the whole game one handed, and I meant to add rebindable controls... but then I didn't, idk

thanks so much! I actually already played and rated your game, and I thought I was great! I liked the grandpa

thanks! I wasn't sure how far to go with the difficulty, so I'm glad you liked it

thank you!

also got stuck on second level....

very neat idea. felt a little monotonous after a while, especially with the music that seemed to be on loop every, like, 3 seconds?

visual novels aren't really my thing, but this was a well told and impactful story. great job

the plot of this game is hilarious. Great job!

very fun, but I could never get anywhere near 41 flowers haha

wow, great game! the art design is amazing. I especially like the checkpoints

I saw the comment saying there was nothing wrong with this game and I was wondering how good it could really be, but wow. I was blown away. Simple, but not easy to master. Endlessly replayable, very inventive, exceedingly polished. Everything a jam game should be. Great job!

thank you so much!

thanks!

haha thank you, I'm glad I could be a pleasant surprise

merci beaucoup!

awesome game! the music especially was great

really great game! definitely very hard. Experimenting with the different combinations is fun and the way the patterns sync to the music is very satisfyin

fun game! shattering the tv screens is very satisfying

cool game! the sound design and art really capture the arcade feel quite nicely, and I like the little lines that pop up when you kill a snake

thats a nice lighting engine you got there - looks very pretty. Controls changing all the time is maybe not the best concept though...

thanks! I appreciate the positive feedback. Industrial Revolution England was vaguely what I was going for, yeah

fun game! fun to speedrun, love the player animations especially.

love the aesthetic, but the movement feels very unpredictable and strange

This was fun. Hard to get the hang of the strategy of it... Still not totally sure if there's much to it besides luck? Graphics and music were both great, though.

This game was hilarious. The colors were garish, but in a good way. I liked finding all the text messages and jokes in the game. Fun.

thanks! Yeah, I would have loved to flesh out the game more so you really were able to explore and have a longer progression, but I just didn't really have time for that
