✔️ It was really nice how you placed those dense areas of enemies that you could then take over to build a massive army.

This was really fun with good art aswell.
This is so good! The very first room is a good bit of tutorial design, forcing the player to get familiar with the mechanics. I also love the idea, and it's executed and presented quite well.

I was going to do a proper tutorial but didn't have the time. I hoped that if I forced players to do the assimilate action once it would teach them how to do it.
Yeah it works quite well. I actually think a tutorial wasn't necessary- the game was self-explanatory, except that I had to look up that your assimilate power is charged by killing, but that could be fixed by a bar.
If I had 30 more minutes I would have added the bar. I think making the stage bigger took priority in the last hour.
