This is so good! The very first room is a good bit of tutorial design, forcing the player to get familiar with the mechanics. I also love the idea, and it's executed and presented quite well.
Thanks. I was going to do a proper tutorial but didn't have the time. I hoped that if I forced players to do the assimilate action once it would teach them how to do it.
Yeah it works quite well. I actually think a tutorial wasn't necessary- the game was self-explanatory, except that I had to look up that your assimilate power is charged by killing, but that could be fixed by a bar.
