The picture of the guy being dragged by the ball when he throws it hard amuses me more than I'd like to admit. Throwing it felt a little clunky to me too, and specifically it seems due to a mismatch between how full the bar is and how far the ball actually gets thrown -- about half strength seems to make it go just as far as full strength, so maybe just rescaling it so it matches the distance would make it feel better? (Unless it's not a bug and its a feature of making the distance traveled fall sharply if the inmate starts getting dragged.)
The game doesn't detect pressing the mouse button more than half the time. Out of about 10 times I attempted to throw the ball it only worked properly 3 times. Didn't get past the first screen/room.
there's a 2 second timer before you can throw the ball again after you've thrown it once. Maybe that's at play here?
Nice version of the theme, and I think it could be super cool if it was a bit more polished (like, throwing the ball felt quite difficult sometimes.) Good job!
Fun Game! Fun Concept! It feels a bit clunky to pick up the ball but it's fun to swing around into things.
Thanks for the kind words!. I agree that the game needs more polish.
I love the background art and the game concept of solving puzzles with your ball. But I really would have wanted to be able to drag your ball slowly behind you to reposition. It fellt a little clunky because of that hard limitation but good work :)
ikr! I spent two hours trying to implement that but i couldn't get it to work smoothly. In the end i decided to scrap the mechanic. Thanks for the feedback!
