I don't understand how to play this game. The worm doesn't seem to be doing anything....

The worm only wants to attack you! You need to get in range of it to make it attack, then hopefully dodge out on time to stay safe, while it noms all the enemies around it

I like the idea I have to say. But the presentation is very very confusing, also for a prototype. I need the presentation to deliver me what's happening. After 5 games, I'm still not sure what the squares that change color are; and the Game Over and You Won sometimes came unexpectedly.
 Maybe some screenshot in the itch.io page would help!

Thanks for the feedback! I've updated the description and will get a few screenshots in. The green squares do damage after a while, they can hurt you but also hurt the enemies! The brown squares slow your movement and that of the enemies down, but I think it's tuned a bit too low.  You win when all enemies have been destroyed by either the Worm or the traps. We really should've put a timer on those screens :X

I liked the idea of getting closer to the wyrm to make it eat stuff, but it took me a while to understand what was happening. Cool concept.

Yeah we really messed up on instructions. The idea is to have a risk VS reward type of scenario where you have to get in range of the wyrm for it to attack, then dodge / run away

I think the idea has potential, right now the movement doesn't feel super smooth and the enemies get too repetitive after a while, but if developed further, it could become a very fun game!
