How does your game fit the theme?
We took a well known game, Asteroids, and flipped it so the player takes the role of the enemy (asteroids/ufo). It also makes you feel like you are playing a twin stick shooter when you are actually controlling the alien's gravity powers, not the ship.
Did your team create the vast majority of the art during the 48 hours?

Suggestion: making the asteroids more responsive and allowing the player to launch them at the ship would could the gameplay a lot more satisfying
The concept was interesting and i like how the game looks, but i was clueless of what i was doing in the first run and won without noticing (the spaceship doesnt dodge any asteroid, maybe change the pilot or something).
Cool idea, though it felt a little unpolished. Main menu looks great though.
Thank you all for the kind words and for trying our game! Ya, the spaceship AI was quite tough to get to a good spot. That went through a bunch of iterations and at least for a game jam I'm happy with where it landed. Maybe next time we'll steer clear of ideas that require building AI in such a short timeframe, because the AI logic def could've used a lot more iteration time. :P
nice idea
The art is also nice, but the gravity is hard to control, and most of the time the spaceship is crashing itself :/
Cool graphics! I actually had a similar idea for a game once where you use the mouse to create gravitational fields!
I love the idea
The art is nice and fits well together, even if it wasn't all made for the jam. But you don't have much control over anything! The gravity wells aren't very strong and difficult to direct, and most of the time the spaceship will crash itself into random ambient rocks before you get the chance to throw anything at it.
