How does your game fit the theme?
You play as an antagonist and you don't want to go to the default positive outcome, but rather throw yourself into a sacrificial pit (ie find a failstate)

I like sprint and the way the antagonist puts his hands when he runs. I got stuck at the lever and I don't know if I was supposed to click something.
I love the art style and the voiceover at the beginning was pretty fun. At some point though I got stuck because I couldn't figure out how to pull the lever. Maybe it was a bug or the problem was with me but I clicked everything
Well polished game. Could not figure out how to pull the lever, for the life of me.
Also qite annoying that it had to be installed to play.
art and presentation are on point, the game is pretty smooth besides a small bug where you can infinitely jump near a wall ( or is it a feature?) . I fail to see the use of the jam theme on your project, besides playing as the evil guy, nothing changed gameplay wise
congratulation on your entry
There's a walljump style mechanic. The theme is represented in that you're playing the bad guy and, by the end, the heavenly light is chasing you and bringing you towards the True And Proper Platform game exit rather than throwing yourself into the spike pit. There was meant to be some audio explaining this as you play but time constraints got in the way! Glad you enjoyed it though!
everything you said makes sense, but the purpose of the jam theme is to create creative gameplays, not just the implementation of the theme via art or story. if you change the winning point to a door and make the player sprite a bit less evil-looking, you lose the purpose of the jam, I don't know if you can see my point.
man i REALLY liked this one! great concept dude. nice job
Thank you!
