How does your game fit the theme?
The game features a reversed perspective of a first person fighting game. You are the enemy and the player is the game AI you fight yourself from the perspective of an enemy. TLDR you control the enemy the roles are reversed

Really unique idea! I enjoyed beating myself up, only criticism would be that the controls were a bit tough to get the hang of. But other than that, really great job!
Thanks!
Took me a bit until I understood who I control and what my win condition is. But it was surprising in a nice way. Well done!
Thank you! I guess I am a bit late to reply
Very unique concept! Controls had to be tuned a little, but for a jam is a great work! Congrats!!!
Well made. I had a lot of fun with this. Full points from me.
Thank you so much
Very cool idea with a nice presentation. Excellent work
Thanks for playing!
Looks great! crash on space though :/
Good work!
so... if the player isn't an enemy to the enemy, why do they fight? just kidding :D
Solid contender for the best title award!!
Thank you)
Great concept! 2nd person games are really rare, I made a (very different) 2nd person game too and thought i might be the only one. I think a bit of extra polish to the menu could be nice, also every time I pressed space bar the game freezes which felt very tedious. Other than that, I think the game was really creative.
Thanks for playing! The space thing is a bug sorry for that. I'll check out your game 2nd person is indeed quite rare
Really liked the idea, having you control the enemy on screen and not the first person character is a nice twist! It seems like attack and pause are both bound to the same key, so I was confused why the game kept freezing. However once I realized that I just double tapped space to attack and was able to enjoy. Cool game!
Yeah it is a bug I added pause within the last hour and accidentally made attack button also pause the game. For some reason this doesn't always happen but sometimes it does. In the new version it is fixed but to publish that I'll have to wait until the jam is over
Great theme interpretation. Good job!
Thank you!
for me controls didn't work at all, space just paused the game (like, the game froze), and pressing space again unfreezes it. wasd or arrows didn't do anything :(
Ikr I messed up. Thanks for playing tho
Interesting Idea, though I had an issue that sometimes when I punch, the game freezes for a second or two.
Thanks for checking it out. Yeah it's a bug sorry about that
Interesting role reversal here, simple but very creative in the realization. Good job!

I think it's a super creative use of the theme! Nice art and nice gameplay Idea ! good job ! ;)
Glad you liked it!
Awesome concept! Really liked it and very funny to play with the perspective!
Thanks for playing!
That's a really great take on the theme, the perspective switch is fascinating. Great work
Thanks for playing!

Good fighting game. A bit confusing at first, but it plays well once you get the hang of it. Needs more levels.

I was a bit confused at first, but I got the hang of it. After I 'won' (lost) I played again just to get the rhythm of when to duck (hooks) and when to lean (jabs). The controls were very responsive. I think my only complaint is that there's only one repeatable round. It would have been fun to have more fights, or a knockout counter. Also, it was confusing at first if I was winning or losing XD
EDIT - Adding a star because the experience of learning to counterattack is one that stood out to me! Thanks for taking the time to implement such an interesting and engaging feature!
[ + + + + -] :: CREATIVITY
I've seen the roles reversed between the player and the game in a couple of different ways this jam. I think yours is the most unique, in that it's a boxing game rather than an RPG.
EDIT - I'm upping this by a star because it genuinely is a creative take on reversing the role between player and enemy.

Nice work on the animations and vfx. 3D isn't common in a 48 hour game jam so props for that.
Thanks a lot for taking your time to give a detailed review I appreciate that. And your rating is only fair. I wanted to make a tutorial to explain what the game is about and how it works but unfortunately couldn't manage my time well enough for that and even created bugs in the process. Again thanks for playing and I am glad you liked it 🙂
I updated the review. I hope you don't mind :)
You did a great job. I hope my updates do a better job of communicating my experience, and reflecting your efforts!
I won.
What you actually played my game?? TYSM AIA man I missed the stream dang it!
I've seen a lot of games that make you play as the enemy, but this is the first one where you are intentionally trying to LOSE. 10/10.
I am glad you liked it
I got froze a few frames when attacking, but the game has really cool concept!
Yeah I know it's an issue on my side. I should really stop pushing last minute features to avoid bugs like this. Thanks for playing!
