Good concept! I wish there was more progression and danger, as it docent feel too satisfying. Maybe make it so your goal is to not get eaten?
Great gag game, but not really anyway to lose or any danger, so felt more like "HA, we got you!", than a game. Was fun to experience tho!
Thank you. You can't lose because it's hard to implement menu and scenes in SFML, but there are dangers: hitting a wall and not being able to feed a fruit in 20 seconds.
This game really makes me laugh. Great for you coming up with this idea!

At first I thought I needed to put the fruit on top of the snake's head, but turns I can just run into the body. I don't know if this is intended behavior but it trivialized the gameplay, there was no challenge whatsoever. I think this game needs a better lose condition and some third factor to add additional depth to the gameplay loop. It would be quite interesting to see how chaotic you could make this with a bit more work and polish. Keep on grinding and good luck in the jam!
Thank you. Yes, you can just hit the body, but if you hit the head, the score will be x2. You can read about it in readme.txt and on the game page.
Neat concept! I like that the player and snake move at the same rate. I think it would be good if there was some other enemy/obstacle that was trying to destroy the fruit to add a bit more complexity to the game.
