How does your game fit the theme?
Bullet Happy is a Bullet Hell, and normally you would be trying to avoid all the bullets and enemies in one. However, in Bullet Happy, your goal is to run into as many bullets and ram as many enemies as you possibly can! Don't let bullets fly off into the void!

Amazing~ This is really well executed! I enjoy this game alot!
This is so good! Everything from the visuals to the gameplay to the music is so well executed, it might be my favorite from the Jam so far. Awesome job!
The game is very polished and enjoyable. The concept that player must catch all the bullets to avoid damage is fun and creative. The beautiful pixel art greatly enhances the overall experience. Amazing game.
Super fun game!
The concept is really cool and its superbly executed! Really liked the effects when you hit enemies
Level 15 is just plain imposible :O hahaha
The idea wasn't that novel, but it was incredibly executed. The amount of polish is unbelievable for a 48h jam game. I loved the effect of stopping time for a moment after killing the enemy, it added a lot to the immersion. BTW, that's not really a criticism, but maybe don't put the main menu as a banner, I almost didn't play the game because I thought it was broken at first.
A really great game. The music and art are amazing and the game was a good challenge. The reverse idea of reversing a bullet hell is a really great idea and was implemented very well, keeping the intensity of a bullet hell despite doing the exact opposite. I tried twice to beat level 15 but wasn't able to, but the levels were well balanced in my opinion and were a ton of fun. Good job!
Very well designed game. The controls felt very smooth and intuitive, I hit what I intended to hit, and I think the game was a fair challenge. Music also matched the vibe, although even at full volume I had to turn my speakers up. I think some of the enemies were a little easier than others (ie the spread enemies) as long as you dashed into their fire at the right time, you could get all of their shots in one dash. Aside from that I felt the game was balanced, with level 10+ being a good challenge.
woh super fun game, i really love your game idea, and the controls are just amazing!!
I loved it, great idea and great execution! The feeling of satifying chaos given by the music, sfx and theme of the game fit perfectly. Good job!
Interesting twist on the genre, I like that you really have to focus on catching all the bullets. Simple and yet effective controls.
Due to how the wave works, I was always catching all the bullets, then going round to finish off the monsters. Perhaps it would be cool if the monsters fired at different times, and then you would have to manage killing monsters at the same time as catching bullets, rather than killing them at the end. I also felt that the hitbox could have been a bit bigger too.
Great work though, I had fun!
Woah. Really polished, really snappy, really fun experience! The dash felt oh-so-good, I felt like I didn't even need the arrow keys!! I wasn't good enough to get past the difficulty spike in level 11 with the six ppl, can't imagine level 15, let alone hard mode haha. The art was really good (although I'm not sure what the little muck monsters were supposed to be, the musty vibe was very coherent) and I had a lot of fun playing it! A tight and polished experience.
Super stylish game, and a very polished take on an interesting concept. I do wish that you had more than three hit points (un-hit points?) for the entire run, as I wanted to see later levels but wasn’t skilled enough XD
I felt like the player’s hitbox was a bit smaller than expected, so there were times it felt like I went through a bullet without it hitting me, but I suppose it wouldn’t be a bullet hell if it was easy :)
I also liked the suggestion someone had below of having an explanation for why you have to run into all the bullets and can’t let them fly off into the void, but the moment-to-moment gameplay is solid enough that I didn’t care too much while playing.
The gameplay is really juicy and fluid. The art style is also great. Really nice game overall!
