How does your game fit the theme?
In Death's Door, you play as the Grim Reaper, an embodiment of death. This relates to the theme of "Roles Reversed" due to RPG and adventure games often having a death mechanic, but in them you almost never play as Death. Another addition to this game is that the Grim Reaper has to reverse their role (keeping souls in the underworld) and bring souls to the overworld in order to help fight, this also relates to the theme of "Roles Reversed".

Simple, but effective, good job!
super cool
The card based combat was pretty cool, I didn't understand exactly what the cards did but after a few minutes of playing I kind of got the jist of it. Personally I think the wasd movement wasn't necessary for this kind of gameplay but I will say it does add to the style of the game. Good job!
Interesting concept, I found it a bit difficult to understand and I wasn't sure what the cards did. Stopped playing because the cards disappeared during a fight with a purple shirt guy, after I had done a boss fight.
Fun concept, I love card based combat! I had a bit of trouble understanding everything going on at first and learned mostly by trial by error it felt, but once I got the hang of it, it was pretty cool! I liked being able to use souls to help me battle! I'd suggest giving the opening of the game a bit more of a bang though, felt veryyyy slow at first. Overall though, great job! :)
Cool game! Got stuck after 5min of playing, where my cards disapeared and I could not finish combat stage.
