JEEEEZ this game really messed with my muscle memory!! Took me a bit to mentally catch on that the text box was the "player" instead of the robot, but a super interesting take on the theme! I like it... even if it makes my head spin.

Nice game but sad that it's only short

Thank you so much for your kind words! We are definetly going to update it post jam :D

Since the start of the evaluation period we started to collect all players' feedbacks and we have now a clear idea about how to upgrade the project!

Really cool idea - every level had me thinking! Well done.

wow, playing as a tutorial is absolutely not something ive seen before, even in this jam.

its sort of like a really clever twist on having to build your own game like ive seen, but way more interesting.

I loved how clever it was with how you had to beat it, with the switch and the pause at the end. You guys did an amazing job, one of my favorite platformers of the jam for sure <3

Developer

Thank you so much for your kindness and for playing our game! We are glad that you enjoyed it :D

Really clever concept! The pause at the end was my favourite twist on the concept, great job!

Probably my favourite platformer in the Game Jam. The switch was clever.

This game is so good, playing with several mechanics and being a smart puzzle, but having meta-irony and mocking music. I think that in the end, from gameplay perspective, there's not much about reversing roles, just being a really good puzzle with an interface-level twist. But delivering a good game, especially a puzzle that is easy to understand but challenging to solve, with well polished learning curve, in 48 hours - great job!

Damn this is sooo good. Totally got potential of being made into a full game. I like how the controls are counterintuitive, giving this game its whole unique yet compelling vibe (I always mistook the little bots as player as well lol). Locking the tab-scrolling midair might be a way to preventing player from breaking this game. But think about more rules added and combined and maybe a level that unlocks midair scrolling..wow. Looking forward to a post jam version of this and maybe a full release in the future.

Good job!

Super cool project, if you added a timer and the ability to change menus while doing an action you could have a mechanically hard puzzle/platformer that I would watch a speedrun of.

Very interesting idea! Thanks for playing our game :)

La scrivo in italiano visto i nomi del team ^^ Ottima idea! Ti obbliga a pensare in maniera del tutto diversa dai soliti giochi. I puzzle sono ben fatti, l'estetica mi piace. Ottimo lavoro ragazzi!!!

Grazie mille! Siamo lieti che il gioco ti sia piaciuto  :D

PS: Complimenti ancora per la vostra idea!

Unique mechanics and well-designed level. The last one took me sometime to figure it out and that was really enjoyable!

Thank you so much <3

Really cool idea! I got a bit confused at the beginning because I thought I had to guide the little robot to the exit but I soon figured it out. Nice job!

Thank you very much! <3

You blow my mind! that was a great idea, well done! This also makes me think in a different direction for my own game! Thank you!!!!

That was so good, sad that it's so short.

Definitely hidden gem I was looking for playing games in this Jam. Art has good and unique style, clever and interesting mechanics.

Hope you'll make full version of this game.

Loved it. My initial reaction to the tutorial box moving instead of the player was a moment. My only issue comes from the awkwardness of the controls -- how you have to completely stop in order to switch controls, and how awkward it can be sometimes to get around. Don't know how you'd get around that either though.

Developer

Thank you so much for playing our game!

The issue you encountered is pretty common, in part it is caused by the fact that "Input to Action" is a puzzle game and not a platformer, despite its ambiguos (intended) appearences, so the capability to switch in a frenetic way is not a really required feature. Anyway, on the other hand our controls are too much restrincting, and we'll work to solve that post jam!  :D

The level setup was creative, but I got confused  at the beginning for a while about which character I was and how it worked, the character shifts changed with the description cards, so I'd recommend that some polish could be done for the game in the future

Developer

Thank you so much! We are collecting feedback to upgrade and polish the game post jam! :D
