I really enjoyed the feel of this game - the artwork and music were fantastic. I liked the gameplay idea but felt the towers were unclear and the difficulty curve a little high. Very pleased to get to lv 2 though!

This game has a strong atmosphere and great fantasy. I love the images of all the different beasts, they are beautifully drawn. Fun!

The gigagoose, a god XD that was fun, between funny and aesthetically creepy! I like the tower attack instead of defense twist.

As a piece of feedback I just wish the towers' shots were a bit more visually clear, but over all good job!

If you can find the time, would you please check out our game as well?!

Our twist of the theme is that a critic tries to play your unfinished game, and you fight from inside the computer to make him like it.

Thank you for your comment and feedback! I will check out your game as soon as I can.
I agree that the tower's shots should be a bit more visually clear, in fact there's particle effects for all of them, but we ran out of time to correctly and accurately depict where a tower is shooting. Hopefully at the end of the week we can fix a few of the major bugs!

Cool idea and animals, but you need to tighten up the visual a little and fix the bugs

Thanks for the feedback! This was mine and a few other devs' first game jam, so we're not used to having so little time to polish. But now we've learned a lot for it!

Thanks for the feedback! This way my second game jam and for many on the team it was their first. We've learnt from it as a team and hopefully our future projects will be tighter!

Cool game, I like the creepy animal models and the animation on the phoenix is really nice. Gameplay wise it's an interesting enough idea but is it fun? Yeah mostly, the game plays a bit slow which happens with tower defenses altough the time could be a bit sped up. Theres enough features to keep you playing for a couple waves with the fear the ressurection and the several different animals and creatures.

The problems with the game I have is that the style is kinda inconsistent with the blocky terrain and turrets versus the detailed monster/animal models. It seems to be a bit unpolished as well but that can be forgiven given the time constraint.

Thanks for the feedback! We greatly appreciate such a full critique. This was the first game jam for a lot of us so we weren't used to working at such a fast pace. We'll clean things up for future games and maybe this one if we decide to keep going!
