Great art and music.
I agree with Lucky that there is tremendous potential form comedy in having the hero/villain be super OP with lots of gruesome and highly destructive attacks.

It's simple but it works well, def reminds me my time playing GTA San Andreas with cheat codes, mowing down civilians and police alike. I think if you go this route, you should fully commit to the bit and make the Hero super strong with wide attacks and spawn lots of civilians and guards around, almost like a dynasty warriors type setup. The sprite work is on point tho, nice job!
Nice pixel art, was a bit too easy to just run to the end by jumping over everything, but fun nonetheless

thank you, i was kind of going for the hero becomes the villain (thus the killing and breaking things) and in the end fights the former villain that then becomes the hero but unfortunately i didn't have time to implement the boss fight :(
