The role of your healthbar is reversed. Normally, having more health is considered an advantage. Here, the less health you have, the stronger your character is, albeit closer to death.

cool visual style, reminds me of canabalt :) and health being a reverse currency for unlocking abilities is a really interesting idea, i'm already imagining all the interesting directions you could push this to.
but yeah the collision stuff makes it really hard to play currently. my advice to other ppl who want to check this out: try to jump as little as possible :D
i really like the idea of getting more powerful when you're low on hp! it reminds me a little of the "danger mario" challenges people do in the paper mario games, but it's nice to see in a more action-y genre too! i think it's a really cool way to implement risk/reward.
unfortunately, this game was a little too glitchy for me to get very far. the floor collisions need some work--almost every time i jumped, i would get stuck in the floor when i landed. pressing jump would usually slide me to the direction i wanted to go until i popped out of the side of the platform, but it took luck and some quick reflexes after that to get onto the next platform. usually i would fall and respawn a bunch of times before i could make it to the next thing.
i think i managed to get all the powerups explained (last one i got was the right click for time distortion, but it didn't seem to do anything for me). i gave up on the gauntlet of enemies shortly after that, though. i was trying to run through, then got caught in the floor in a corner and couldn't get out.
i'd love to come back to this after the jam is over, if those collision bugs get ironed out! i also really like the silhouette style, and think it suits the narrative well.
I love the style and atmosphere to the game. The mechanics and idea behind it are neat to
But the constant clipping on the ground can mean you need to restart the whole game again
Game was a bit difficult as I kept getting caught in the ground.
I really liked the concept and the general atmosphere was cool too !
Realy cool idea and satisficing controlls witch are realy hard to make in 2 days, still a bit short but awesome
A very cool concept! This was a lot of fun, I would love to see more levels for this in the future. Also, that music 🤌
Intersting concept. I liked movement, but almost always when I jump I get stuck in ground, so it was hard to see what powers player has. Cool mechanics though
