In the game you need to dig/build Tunnels through Dirt to allow the Transportation of oversized Food. You can grow your Units by feeding them on the food.

Really good take on the theme and some really good ideas! It might be worth adding the option to speed up the flow of time so we can watch out tiny friends do their job a little faster once we have them set up and ready to go. Great work!

I really love the idea behind this game, always a fan of multitasking. I did run into a bug (haha) where the dirt in front of a bug wouldn't disappear as it was digging. This meant I couldn't bring things back the way I came, as sometimes there wouldn't be a tunnel at all. It seemed to happen the most along the border of some texture, as I'd see straight lines and 90 degree corners where the digging stopped. Additionally, I was able to spawn one new worker for 10 dirt, but after that the button to spawn more disappeared, even though it seems like I was meant to have more than two workers. I got up to 66 dirt without the button reappearing, but maybe it wasn't dependent on that to begin with. Despite those problems, I still enjoyed the game!
Yes, I already knew the bug but couldn't figure out a solution for it. It has to do with the transition of the unit between two tiles. When the unit moves too quickly, it cannot dig through the dirt of the new tile. However, when you trigger the transition again by moving back and forth it should work again. I actually intended the buy button to only appear when you are close to the base but didn't test it very well - could be another bug haha Glad you enjoyed it still! :)
I like the idea of the game, there doesnt seem to be audio, and starting its very confusing to figure out what the controls are and if you move the camera you can lose track of where your player is and have to scan looking for them again
Yeah that's true, I also got lost sometimes when testing. Thought of adding arrows that point to your units/base or a mini map when I retouch it
I really loved this! Synchronising all my bugs to dig tunnels for the bigger foods felt very good, and it was super satisfying bringing the food back to the queen through the tunnels I made. The food did sometimes teleport between my bugs when I was trying to pick it up (which sometimes got it stuck in the middle of a wall), but aside from that I think this is an excellent entry to the jam!
Thanks! Glad you loved it! The teleportation is of course a feature not a bug :P Actually, I never tried picking up food with multiple units when testing.

Some Bugs, but you can feel the Heart in the graphic and the gameplay, keep Up the lovely work
