Fun lil game, liked the cute toy guy. from the back I thought it was a guy with a small head and long neck but realised he's like a lil TV dude hehe. I think the camera might have been a touch too close to the models but apart from that I had some fun exploring the world!

Glad you liked it!

We’d wanted to give a few camera controls for the little guy (scroll-zoom, different positions / swap side, etc) but that sadly got left on the cutting room floor. Something to sort out, should we get the time to revisit Kitbash (we’d really like to), as it would’ve been a nice touch!

Thanks for playing!

Pretty cool game! The driving is a little annoying at times, but the idea is interesting :D

Nice to hear you felt it was pretty cool and interesting!

Hopefully, we can revisit Kitbash in the future, as we’d definitely like to add some more polish for driving (flipping over / reset is a must), carry on with the idea, and fill out the world a little.

Thanks for playing!

This is a really good game! Though i do think there should be a way to respawn the car or something like that because for me it got stuck in the river and i spent ages trying to get it out

Developer

Happy to hear you think so!

Sorry, I wasn’t able to implement a flip/reset for the car in time, so this was an issue we knew people would run into. Definitely something we’ll have sorted in the future, should we get the time to revisit Kitbash.

Thanks for playing!

Very cool game! I liked the sound effects a lot and driving around was a lot of fun. There was just one thing that slightly bothered me and that's that the bunkers were so far away(I found 3 and one of those killed me upon entering? I think that was a bug.) and there wasn't really anything to keep the player entertained in between (I was walking because I got the car stuck somewhere), I think some music or some more variation in the landscape would really make it so much more fun to explore. I really loved the desolate atmosphere and the controls generally felt quite nice. Great work! Congrats!

Glad you had fun, and thanks for the positivity and feedback!

Nice to hear you enjoyed the little sfx, I spent some time on them despite it not being my wheelhouse, as I felt it mattered, so it’s nice to be affirmed in that decision.

There are 4 bunkers, so well done finding 3 of them! Sadly, we didn’t catch how one overlaps the respawn plane, as it didn’t have a functioning attachment / power-up, so wasn’t tested during the hour extension…

One of the ideas for scale we were keen to explore was that of the landscape, which meant the vehicle was important… but I didn’t implement a vehicle flip/reset in time, so that was a real issue!

We had selected a theme for our background music (“夢の砂漠” by “desert sand feels warm at night”) but couldn’t find something we could use that felt right in the time… then forgot to put in even some aeonian tones or background sfx as a placeholder, oops! Similarly, personal time constraints meant we couldn’t put more into the world and increase the variety (things to explore and do, encounters to have, etc), so it felt a little more empty than we intended; here’s hoping we’ll have the time to revisit Kitbash and flesh it out.

Thanks for playing!

Very quirky. Fun little game! In the end I found myself just driving around taking everything in and seeing what tricks I could do with the car. Was a fun little experience. Thanks for making :)

Developer

Hope the quirkiness is charming, and glad you had fun!

Happy to hear you enjoyed the driving, as we’d like to revisit Kitbash and flesh it out, so it’s good to know we could explore little tricks and such for the driving – seems like a nice thing we could expand on.

Thanks for playing!
