I like the concept, I think the game may benefit from a levels system where the player solves a pathing puzzle from predetermined input/output locations. Kind of like those "connect the two dots of the same color" type of puzzle games. I think the game could evolve into something like that mixed with a zachtronics game!
Tutorial for how to place/alter tiles would be great, but otherwise I figured it out, I think! I can see how level design for this could get interesting.
The game idea is really good, and I think that it could keep you engaged for longer because at some point the game just becomes impossible, as a connection spawns that is either impossible or that can impossibly be completed in time, as you have to restructure multiple connections. I think it would be nice if the time to complete a connection where to scale the more factories you have. I also think it would be cool if you could link up multiple conveyor belts into one. The base idea is really good and with a bit of time this idea could really flourish into something special!
I think it could use some polish, some sound effects and music would be nice, as well as some visuals for the direction of the conveyor belt before you place them.
