I love the concept and the art style, very cute!

My feedback would be that some things are unclear, for example if one of the pair dies, I'm not sure how to revive them. I'll switch to the other and then back and they will be alive for a few seconds and die again, even if the meters are near the middle. Also at one point, Laqua ran out of water, I didn't know there was a limited amount of water

Great submission! Love the art style and the sound effects

This game is awesome, very cool concept and very well made!

This game is great! Its simple, fun, and polished, the inclusion of a scoreboard was an awesome idea. It kept me playing trying to get in the top 7 haha

I don't really have any critiques, the game is very well made. Maybe add some powerups that float by to reduce the thunder strike cooldown?

These graphics and  animations are insanely good!  Overall the gameplay is fun! Wizard is OP and I'm not sure what the point of accruing mana crystals is haha.

I also encountered some bugs. Sometimes the "hero" would stop moving/attacking, then  would suddenly start again. One of my runs, he stopped moving/attacking while my goons beat him up, he got to 0, then he started moving again and I couldn't place any more units haha. But I also had runs where it worked fine, I wish I could give more specific feedback for the bugs

Great submission!

Thanks for the feedback! I think making the game longer is a great suggestion

Thank you for the feedback! The Growth meta is very strong lol

The initial brainstorm idea actually had multiple cacti! My teammate and I will have to reopen that discussion, because I think you're right, that would make the game more fun and interesting

All of those seem like great ideas to me!

That's true, exponential growth of humans is very real haha. I think slowing the early stages could be effective

That is a good buff for water tiles! I feel you on the time limitations, my teammate and I had many ideas that we couldn't get to/eliminated in brainstorming because we knew we wouldn't have time haha

Yeah those are tough constraints. Maybe something like having the sprite rapidly blink a different color? Whatever you decide, I'm looking forward to it!

I'm very impressed with this game! Both at the creativity of the core mechanic and at how many good levels there are.

If I had to pick something to critique, I sometimes ended up in a situation where I was trapped in a corner. This is not a huge problem though because of the undo and reset buttons.

Great Game!

Great concept! It feels very intuitive to play and I love the steampunk style.

If I had to make a critique it would be that the map stays the same, at least as far as I got it was the same. I would love to see some more map layouts

I love the graphics! Very good pixel art and I liked the UI too

My critique would be that it felt like the outcome of the game is mostly determined by how many mountains the player is given, since they are the only means of removing humans.

Some possible solutions:

  • Add effects to the other terrains. Like Forests will only begin being consumed three turns after being played, or only the closest bank of water can be farmed or something
  • Slow the spread of humanity. Exponential growth gets out of hand quickly, slowing it may give the player a fighting chance

Very fun game! Love the art style! My critique would be that as the scrolling speeds up, the events get closer and closer together and it looks and feels a bit awkward gameplay-wise, but you did a good job of not punishing the player too harshly in that situation

This is a great submission! I love the mechanic of the player and the enemies having a shared resource they must compete for. If I had one complaint it would be that, amid the chaos, it was difficult for me to tell when the enemy projectiles were about to shoot

Hey liver man,

Thanks for trying the game and giving me feedback! Those bugs have all been fixed now thanks to your feedback!

Hey Wahl,

Thanks for trying the game and giving me feedback! The audio bug is something that we can't fix, its a webGL issue. If you want audio you'll have to download the executable. The others have all been fixed though thanks to your feedback!

The WebGL build doesn't have audio for some reason. Sadly, If you want audio you'll have to download the executable.

My queue is filled with Windows games but I am running Linux, making it impossible for me to clear my queue.
