How does your game fit the theme?
Like Reversal Rooms was a game about messing with your controls, Recursion is a game about messing with scale of you and the world around you

This game was so good I went back and dipped certain other ratings a bit lower because it redefined the scale for me. Absolutely fantastic brain breaking little monster of a game. I honestly and absolutely believe that with more levels this could absolutely be sold as a non jam release. It was so good I recommended it to several other friends who didn’t even participate in the gamejam, just because I thought they’d enjoy it.
Worked on Firefox for me, I think my only critique is that I’d love to be able to rebind the controls, but given that it’s a jam game that’s extremely impressive.
Really liked this, but me and a friend did run into an issue where the character sprite was behind the background layer, making it impossible to play. I had it happen in Opera and my friend was playing in Firefox, but it worked fine when I switched to Chrome.
Really cool man! I think the many tutorial levels in the beginning really weren't needed! I think maybe up to 6-7 perhaps but you need to show the cool scale concept you guys have in your game! At one point while playing the earlier levels I was like... is this game gonna at all represent scale? or is it just a fun platformer!
either way GREAT JOB! Loved the experience :D
Super fun and crisp platformer. I really enjoyed the puzzle elements and it was definitely making my head hurt by the end. Loved the aesthetic and how the background effect was put to good use portraying scale. I only did some of the EX levels, but will need to come back for more. The only issue I was noticing was the sprite somehow hiding objects around it, making jumps a little harder to judge. Really great game!
Very neat game! Managed to get a full clear :) The EX levels were very challenging but fun, and my favorite levels overall were probably the ones where you needed to switch size in order to collect keys/move springs. It would be nice if you could add a level select in future updates, so that players can get back to their last level!
Such a cool concept. the multi level spring puzzle was a really interesting idea, and how different spikes etc change scale how it incorporates into the level. Quite a polished platformer input as well. Well done!
