Nice game :) Maybe full-keyboard controls would've been easier to play. I liked the sound design too!
MORE CHILDREN IN MECHS I LOVE CHILD SOLDIERS!
Really liked the sprites and the animations, feels very fluid! The variety of enemies is pretty good too! One minor nit: maybe make the story skippable at the start, or at least a way to fast foward the text.

Really like the mech/power ranger designs on a classic 2D boxing game, and it was really interesting to see different attack patterns on the enemies too!
