What stopped you from joining the official jam?
Accidentally deleted the submission, because the execution file-name was wrong so I thought I could replace the submission in time. I was wrong.

Minor gripe: A sound effect for refilling your water at a well would've been nice. As it is, it's a bit hard to tell that you have water again.
Major gripe: I was confused as to why I wanted to keep the plants alive if they're just going to all become enemies in the evil phase. Do I get more seeds that way? Do I get some bonus if I have a certain number of non-evil plants at the end?
Ultimately, the only reason I have these gripes is because I spent a lot of time playing this game. It's a really good game! The art style is great, the sound design is great, the game feel is great, the escalating difficulty is great, it's all great! Definitely the best game I've played so far in the deadline-missers jam.
Thank you so much. Plants that haven't sprouted before the evil phase give a lot more seeds and are more docile than normal plants. plants that had already sprouted become very aggressive and give very few seeds during the evil phase.

sometimes plants spawned in shadows and werent that visible but it made so much fun to play!

Really great game, the visuals and audio was great, had lots of fun playing it. It is pretty hard though, and it was not clear at first what water did.
Excellent game! I liked it! Player movement is so smooth, also shooting, and the SFX of shooting it fits perfectly with each shot. I didn't like just one thing which is, I can't control the game with the arrow keys, so I found some difficulty while I was playing the game, because my keyboard is not "WASD". If you can add the arrow keys to control the game, please do it! :)
