The game is very simple but I think it could be a good starting point. The player should have a couple more option to choose from, both in battle and shop. I imagine the scope was too big for a two days jam (I'm afraid we had the same problem unfortunally, ahah). Things that I liked are the music and the fact that each enemy has his own artwork and follow the theme of the game pretty well.
Hey there! Thanks for playing and commenting! Yea the scope was a little ambitious, as we needed a bit more time for more battle actions, shop activities and shop items. Wish we could have added them in before the submission time.
I liked the music and sound effects, although they were quite loud and I had to turn the volume down on my computer. The game doesn't feel as though there is much substance to it, mainly just clicking the attack button over and over again, although the health bars were a nice addition and helped the overall feel of the game.
Hey there!
Thank you for playing and commenting! I agree the game lacks in content and we also had planned to add additional content to the game, but it had to be cut out due to the amount of time left that we had free. I guess I can say it was over scoped for the game and a good learning experience for future gamejams.
This was nice! Could definitely use some polishing for presentation but for a two day jam its very well made. The sounds gave good feedback, I enjoyed the different types of enemies, and the coin system was interesting.
I do believe he game is kind of easy and doesn't really require much thinking even with the gold, but I'm sure that is a balancing issue that could be sorted out with more time. Regardless, I had fun getting the scepter back for the king!
Hey!
Thanks for the comment and feedback DhruvS28! Yeah if we had more time there could have been more polish and balancing. We kinda had to scrap some stuff and just submit the game due to the submission time creeping up, But I'm glad we were able to submit a functional game in the time limit in general.
Hey, thank you for playing DhruvS28! We had a ton of fun making this game in our time window! We will definitely take these ideas and see where we can take this!
