Thank you! I am glad you liked the game.

Hey there! Thanks for playing and commenting! Yea the scope was a little ambitious, as we needed a bit more time for more battle actions, shop activities and shop items. Wish we could have added them in before the submission time.

Hey there!

Thank you for playing and commenting! I agree the game lacks in content and we also had planned to add additional content to the game, but it had to be cut out due to the amount of time left that we had free. I guess I can say it was over scoped for the game and a good learning experience for future gamejams.

Hey!

Thanks for the comment and feedback DhruvS28! Yeah if we had more time there could have been more polish and balancing. We kinda had to scrap some stuff and just submit the game due to the submission time creeping up, But I'm glad we were able to submit a functional game in the time limit in general.

Hey there! Thank you for taking time to play and comment on our game! The timer idea is an interesting idea that we could have explored. We did talk about adding in a way to "Recover" the light bar such as a recovery area, or a pickup. Thank you for the feedback on a way to improve our current systems in the game, it is most appreciated.

Hello! Thank you for playing our game and leaving a comment! Yeah, I agree that we could have added a little bit more into the game for visual guidance on the level design. This actually was a topic during the beginning stages of our level design planning, but we ended up focusing more on polishing the mechanics and level layout more since we were running out of time unfortunately. I truly appreciate the feedback on our controls scheme and how we can make improvements to our level design as it will only help us in our future projects.

Just played, rated and commented on your game! Good job on the game, it was a blast to play!

This game is awesome! I loved the grapple mechanics and how they are used differently in the game as you progress. Great progression, Level 4 and the last level were pretty high in difficulty for me but it could be because im not good at the game haha Music fit nice, level design is done really well, grappling mechanics are pretty well implemented. Overall it was a fun experience! Great job to everyone who worked on the game!

Thank you for the comment and playing our game. It makes me happy to read that you have enjoyed our game and also took the time to provide us with constructive feedback that is helpful! I agree with what you are saying about adding in some more player feedback to the game, such as the controls popup fading in/out and some spooky monsters. We will take this feedback to improve our future games! Once again, i appreciate you playing our game and i am very glad you enjoyed the experience.

Thanks you for leaving a comment and playing our game! I am glad that you found our game relaxing and liked the pixel artwork, our pixel artist did an awesome job working on many pieces of art that we needed!

Thank you for taking time to play our game and ofcourse the feedback on your experience. For me personally, I value this information so I can improve my future projects design! Much appreciated!

Hey there! Thank you for playing and commenting on our game! To be honest, we actually had a discussion about which way the bar should fill up/deplete and we decided on one way for the first level and the opposite for the next level. For something so simple it was hard to decide which way "looked/felt" right haha. I appreciate the feedback as it helps us improve in future games!

Btw... I love dark souls, so I know what u mean haha!

Hello! Thank you for the kind comment and ofcourse for taking the time to play our game. I am so happy that you liked the game :D

Hey there! Thank you for playing our game and I am glad you enjoyed the light mechanic!

Hey there! Thanks for playing and enjoying our game! Yea we had talked about a way to heal the player originally, but we didn't have enough time for testing/balancing purposes and we didn't want to make the level too easy as well. It's great feedback though and thank you once again for playing our game :)

Its well done and very vibrant to look at, plus its easy to tell the difference from the platforms/ground and the background space. Good job!

The game has an interesting concept but the camera controls in the WebGL build was so difficult to rotate and kind of made it frustrating to navigate. Maybe i would suggest hiding the cursor while in game so it does not leave the game window or make a build that also hides the cursor within the game window while playing. Overall, I like the game and its a fun concept that i wish had some more time for polish for the movement.

Game mechanic was very interesting but i got stuck at the part with the larger box. Not sure how to progress from there as the box was against the corner already and i couldn't move it. Fun concept!

Im glad it helped out!

Movement felt really fluid and i like the music and artwork in the game as well. Really clever puzzle/level design. Fun game!

Fun game with the switching control to the other player. Good puzzle/level design and music/audio that seemed to fit well with the game. Good job!

No worries! I just thought bringing the bug up would help you out if you were to fix it later on or continued with the game! Hope it helps even if a little bit.

I really liked how the cutscenes were done, the audio, and artwork. The controls felt good other than a very high sensitivity for the camera. Other than that I had fun playing the game, good job on it!

I like the main mechanic of shooting through the portals. An area for improvement would be to reset the level when the enemy collides with the player because currently i was able to stand at the spawn area and just move around with the enemy on top of me through the game, if it maybe reset the level or something it would make the enemy more of a obstacle. Overall, Fun game idea and i had fun playing it.

Even for a game that is incomplete i enjoyed the mechanics and visuals of the game. I feel this is a great base to expand on. I like the interaction with the cups, trashbins, file cabinets, and movement to other sections. Wish you had more time to complete this game! Good job on the work put into the game so far!

This game has a great level design with interesting mechanics that are different in each stage as you progress in the game. I like the story elements added in as it kept me invested to see what will come next! Some of the mechanics feel like they needed just a little more time in development, but they were functional and very unique. Overall, Fun game to play and good job everyone who worked on the game!

This was a fun game and it made me want to move in the game as fast as possible to get a higher score haha. Fun mechanics and i love the music in the levels as well, i felt it fit the gameplay well. Good job!

Thank you for playing and the comment!

The level design is quite nice and the puzzle challenges are not too hard either. Great game with some good audio and game mechanics.

This was a fun game and i like the artstyle and game mechanics. One area of improvement I could say is to add some audio ques or music in the game. Fun game and great job on it!

Fun first person roguelite game. I like that there is many ways to kill enemies in the game. The controls feel smooth and player animations are really well done. Fun game!

This was a fun game with awesome audio, art and puzzle design. I enjoyed each levels puzzles were similar but different so the levels felt quite different. Great job on this game!

This games artwork is amazing, the dialog/writing, interactions, audio. Just simply great. Good job on this game.

Yeah those parts are tricky for sure! I just wanted to bring up the bug just in case you did not know about it and intended to fix it later on :D I hope it helps out for you even if its just a little bit. Good job on the game, it really is unique and fun.

I love space stuff and was instantly excited to play this game when I seen it. The gameplay was fun and movement felt as close to an astronaut as i would imagine, the audio was well done and i enjoyed the cutscene as well. Only room for improvement would be maybe add some music into the game? Overall, fun game and good job on the game!

Hey there!

Thank you for the comment and for playing our game! I am happy you liked the cutscene since i spent a good amount of time working on it haha. Thank you for the feedback about our level design as it is very useful to us for future improvements.

Thank you for the kind reply!

I am really glad and thankful that you enjoyed the game that we put a lot of time and effort into! I agree that some more polish for player feedback would make the shadow entering the light much more apparent. Thank you once again for playing our game and some great feedback for improvement!

Hey there! Thank you for the kind words and for playing our game! I am really glad you enjoyed the game and thankfully the challenge was enough as that was a constant thought of ours during the level design process.

This game was quite fun but when i reached the second level and died 3 times, the game froze on me and i was no longer able to move or anything. I love the whole simplistic art color scheme with only being a few select colors. The movement is easy and fluid and different types of characters with a variety of changed between then mechanically is great for solving the puzzles. Overall quite fun gameplay with the movement of characters, good job!
