I like the premise of being on a tabletop RPG set. The dialogs are pretty fun, although they tend to drag for quite too long. And the 3D has a lot of charm!

Unfortunately I find the movement laborious. Being able to rotate the camera means that I was never sure where the dice will roll. And its movement is long, making navigation frustrating. Eventually I tried several time to beat the first dragon, but in vain. I can't react quickly enough to avoid their projectiles, the camera makes it difficult to either see where I'm going or where are the fire balls coming from, and aiming is just impossible.

So yeah, there's a lot of improvements to be made on the controls. Too bad, because the universe seems great, and I was eager to explore it more! It's impressive that you were able to create those assets during the jam.

Don't worry! We're currently in the works for a more polished fuller release of the game sometime post jam. Thank you so much for your feedback! ☺️

I liked exploring the world as a dice on a tabletop game, it made exploring the levels more interesting! Plus, the visuals are really nice, and convey well that board game aesthetic!

I would have liked to be able to maintain my direction keys instead of spamming them to move around quickly :') It is not a big issue but it gets tiring and it made me skip some dialogs unintentionnally!

For the combat system, I did not really understand how the face of the dice influenced anything, so I just dodged the attacks while staying very close to the ennemies and spamming the attack button and it worked!

Nice game overall, good job :)

Yeah, you're not the first to tell us about being able to keep the key down !

As soon as the votes ends we gonna update the game, making the movements faster when you're out of fight and also the possibility to stay pressed on the key.

About the influence of the dice face, it broke when we packed the game.

The 6 face was supposed to heal you. Also we gonna fix that and add a shield to the 1 face.

Thanks for your review, glad you liked the game !

I was rolling around as a dice and I was so confused! It said the 6 saves your life and I never figured out what that meant! I played all three levels and killed the critters! We're working on a sequel, it's gonna be bigger, it's gonna be better, that I can tell you.

Developer

Yeah the 6 was suppose to heal you, but it broke just before the release and we didn't spot it !

Thanks for your review ! Glad you enjoyed ! :)

Nice concept and pretty good artistic art!

To me there was one big problem, which was that the game felt somehow unresponsive, making the movements really slow (would have enjoyed a lot the possibility to just keep a key pressed to move) and thus making the game over a bit frustrating.

Despite that, this is still a very good entry, that I enjoyed to test! Good job from you all :D
