To be honest, I never managed to figure out how to play this game. Are enemies supposed to fall through cracks?

Yeah I noticed that the game was not working the way i wanted it to midway through making it! Prototyping!! :) Yes the enemy's are supposed to fall through the cracks.

Great job for your first jam! I think it feels a little unfair to move a random distance without knowing the results of the roll before hand.

I ran out of time to change most of the stuff as I kinda changed projects midway through the jam! whoops :)

Good work for the first game jam! I experinced complete game mechanisms! If u want to improve the experience I think u can try narrowing down the arena and give clear visual representation by clearifying: the player is done moving/ needs to set a trap now/ should end ur turn now/ it's ur turn now... Good work&keep on!

Thanks for the reply. I really wanted to add that to the game, but I ended up swapping projects midway through. I might polish it off a bit for learning's sake and all your ideas to make it better are a great help! Thanks :)

Good job!  I think you have a good base idea. would love to see this developed into more action packed game :)
