The most important aspect of my participation within a jam, is to reach my personal goal, which is not always to submit something at the end of it. For the most part, it's about having fun and learning for me.

If submitting a project at the end of the jam is important for you, I would recommend trying to push a build very early on, with a single 'feature' in your game (even if it's only the UI start screen!) The more you go with an iterative approach, the easier it will be for you to plan properly in the future, and estimate properly each step along the way.

I hope you had a good time nonetheless!

yeah, I agree. I just started by trying to build the rogue like aspect. I probably should have Cut that sooner in the jam. Next time I'll do something smaller in scope.  I did have a lot of fun on this though!

Although you didn't get a submission in, the concept sounded really fun! Don't give up on it!

Yeah, I did some physical prototyping using a go board and it seemed solid. I just overestimated the amount of work it would take to make a rogue-like. next time I'll physically design the levels I think.

Darn, shows it's not uploaded, let me know if you get it running

I tried exporting it from Godot, I spent the full two hours to try and get it running on itch, but honestly all I was able to complete was getting the music playing and some character animations(the level generator kept crashing and I have no clue why)

Shame you couldn't make it in time, looked interesting from the video!

That video was the tutorial I used, not the game idea. sorry for the confusion
