I love the simplicity that covers deep complexity and that is usually what i strive for when making games. Interesting mention of the domino principle, never thought of it that way but i agree.

Yes, i will make a post-jam update where I will fix all the issues they're currently in, with a boss battle hopefully in the end.

Who knows, if i enjoy working on it enough i might turn it into a real game.

Thank you! :)

Glad you enjoyed the game!

Yes, i think either you get the game or you don't and based on that you will have a vastly different experience. I am glad at least some people could figure out the mechanics themselves, thought for a moment that the game was quite ruined with all the complexity. The irony is that I tried to make it extremely simple by having only 2 dice that you can choose but I succeded somehow to mess that up :)

Thank you for the lovely review, I appreciate it!

Yes, the lesson learned for the next Jam is to at least put away 5h for tutorial and polishing instead of adding extra content that no one will be able to reach.

Thank you for the feedback!

Thanks you, i appreciate it!

Glad you figured out how the game works!

14 is very impressive, my highest is 14 as well.

Thank you for the feedback!

Yeah not being able to use fullscreen really messed up the experience. Really not sure why it breaks on fullscreen.

Thank you for the review!

I really loved the movement, you really captured the feeling of dice turning perfectly.  Overall very smooth and polished gameplay.

I have seen the dice damage in other games but here you have at least some control over it so bonus point for that.

Great Jam entry, well done!

Funny enough my game is also called Dice Knight! :)

I enjoyed the simple mechanics, very easy to get into and there was some strategy involved due the reroll mechanic.

Very polished, well done!

Very interesting concept, i could see this mechanic being further developed into some kind of adventure game. For being so complex, it was really easy to get into and understand the core mechanics. The tutorial helped a lot as well.

The only feedback I have is that it would have been interesting with some random events that would spice things up.

Well done!

Thank you!

Thank you for the great review, i really appreciate it!

I improved the description, hopefully, it clears questions. Thank you!

Didn't do the animations, but thanks! :)

I improved the description to explain the different mechanics, hopefully, it clears it up.

Thank you for the review!

Yeah, didn't have time for any kind of tutorial but i improved the description so it should be clearer now hopefully.

Thank you for the review!

A solid game that became quite hectic the further in you got. Throwing the cleavers felt really satisfying and the random chaos of micromanaging your shift and space added to the gameplay.

The only feedback i have is that i would love to see more monsters/skills perhaps as the game went on.

Well done!

Ahhh, finally i made all sides. Wow, that last puzzle was actually quite interesting. Not sure what triggered the room switch, was it just moving in a certain order? Was close to giving up since it thought it was bugged since it never reacted but as soon as i noticed that the entire dice actually moves and it is part of the puzzle got a big ahaaa moment.

The only feedback i have is perhaps introducing that the dice move more clearly, but I'm not sure if it would ruin the surprise of figuring that out yourself since it was a great moment when you "discover" it.

Overall, solid and simple puzzle game that l enjoyed playing. Well done!

A philosophical take on both the theme and jam, raging dice spamming :)

I was very close to not submitting in time due family as well so i feel your pain, hopefully you make it next year.

Thank you for your in-depth review!

Just to be clear, the SFX and 3D models are from previous projects, but I have not entered for the art nor SFX, I have only entered for the game itself (Code) and most of the actual game is made for this Jam.

Yeah, i was thinking about contining working on it because i have so many more ideas for it like boss battles, items, more events, better procedural content etc,

I really appreciate the fair review, thanks again!

Solid and well-polished game with good visuals and SFX and lovely animations!

The only feedback i have is that i wish you had more control of the actual dice, perhaps adding powerups and making it roll higher or something.

Great entry, well done!

I like the idea of random stats after each round, adds a flavor to each play-through. I can see the concept being developed further into a simple game like vampire slayers.

Well done!

Cool mechanic, I liked it.

For some reason the islands are on the top left of my screen, some are not showing. Not sure if it was only like that on my screen.

Good job!

Yeah, i see now that the shooter is a bit OP :D

Some feedback I have is that ladders seem to work only for some time and perhaps have more ways to earn money.

Good work on the game, procedural stuff is hard.

Really well-made game with very interesting mechanics once you figure out how it all works. Also, something that is really impressive is the amount of content you managed to do within a 48 with a custom engine! Really good work!

Shame you couldn't make it in time, looked interesting from the video!

Interesting little game, well done!

Wow, I'm very impressed by all the details you managed to cram in 48 hours. The platforming mechanics felt polished and the tutorial really helped out a lot.

Good job!

Wow, really satisfying to play! The sound effects and the boost effects are really well made. I really enjoyed it.

Great work!

I liked it, very polished and had some fun mechanics.

Well done!

Fun little puzzle game! Really good job on the tutorial since really helps out. Wish i spent more time on a good tutorial as well. Well done!

Thank you, yeah didn't really have time for some kind of tutorial.

Added some description, hopefully, it helps a bit. But basically, you navigate the knight by throwing the dice, you can choose red or blue dice to land on a spot you want like healing fountains or rank-ups.

And in combat, the roll determines how strong your attack or defense will be. The higher the roll, the better the outcome. But you can only choose one at a time so choose wisely :)

Was hard to get it in the beginning but once you figured it out it clicked.  A unique mechanic that requires some thinking to properly master.

Good job!

Clever physics puzzle game with satisfying audio with many levels to solve. Like most physics-based puzzle games there are always other less intended ways to solve the levels :)

I enjoyed this, good work!

Polished and really fun! I liked the mechanic of attaching the other tanks on your own and at the same time get more armor and projectiles. The only game I felt ended to quickly after the first boss since I wanted to play more.

Great work!

A lovely puzzle game that got me hooked. The puzzle mechanics felt unique and made me think a couple of times before figuring it out.

Well done!

I liked the unique art style and the cool puzzle mechanics. The level design was also greatly balanced with introducing new stuff and difficulty to keep things interesting.

I really like this one, great job!

Wow, thank you for the kind words. 1000 points?! I can't believe how some of you get that far when I struggle myself reaching 500.

Yeah, i noticed that the game contains bugs unfortunately and one of them is that the enemies stay and you need to restart the game.

I'm glad you liked it and thank you for the feedback!
