Neat concept, I liked the ideas behind the combat. You got a lot done in the jam period too, haven't seen any other Metroidvanias. Awesome job tackling a large scope project in 2 days!
Rolling dice at the enemies seemed very slow though, took a while for them to land. So eventually I got bored and just jumped past the last several enemies.

Nice work! I liked the subtle 2.5D graphics style, and the animation was nice. The elements system added some interesting depth. I did find a bug where there would be this constant buzzing sound after I beat the second boss and the music turned off. Great job overall though!
The atmosphere of the game surprisingly feels like a horror game :P
Simple mechanics but is very effective, the artstyle is also very endearing.
Congrats on finishing the jam !
(also discovered that as long as you keep contact w/ the enemies, they will not be able to damage you)
Great mechanics. The presentation was very simple but effective. Good job overall!
This game has a lot of unitentional heart attacks and jumpscares i like it
I was surprised I had been playing for over 10 minutes and it was a lot of fun. That placement of the boss was really good. I thought that since the button was there, it would be an enemy-free zone, but it really surprised me. Well done!
It’s nice to see a more action-y game in the jam, and the metroidvania style gives it lots of room for expansion. Adding weights to the different faces really helps make you strategize over which ones you want, and risk having more zero rolls in exchange for higher damage. I like how the dice actually roll and reflect the sides you’ve picked. I don’t see why you would want to keep your old lower weight dice however, except maybe for dumping low value sides.
The elemental dice sides are an interesting idea, but it doesn’t get expanded on much, and there isn’t much feedback on whether you’ve picked the right type. It does make me think about the possibilty of having more unique effects to assign to dice.
It would be nice if you could actually see the second boss’s health. Also, after beating the second boss, I got a bug where there was a horrible buzzing sound all the way until the end of the game.
The platforming is pretty solid without any notable issues, although a little floaty, and the enemies can sometimes be nice and challenging.
Overall I really enjoyed it and think it has a lot of potential!
The mechanic is really good, original and engaging! It makes the pacing a bit slow for an "action platformer" but it was really well executed. The polished could have beeb a bit better, but there is so much you can do in 48h, right ? ^^
Great entry, good job
Wow It`s realy good stuff!!! Of course there are some flaws, but the game is suitable, and if it is finished, it will be a cool TimeKiller for mobile devices=)
Base concept is interesting. Seen a few build your die games in the past but they were always turned based so it was novel to see it applied elsewhere. The die faces pricing felt a bit limiting. I think a rebalance around that would do wonders. Elemental die faces have potential if switching the die I'm using on the fly. I think changing it so the die face facing the player is the damage would make the dice feel more intuitive for how much damage I just rolled. And making everything faster pace. You have the beginnings of what could be interesting Metroidvania material.
I enjoyed your game! I did feel like I wished I had a little more control over how far I threw the die or how long it took to “explode” and do damage. And more feedback about when my character took damage would be good too. Great game!
Cool game! The mechanic of editing the die is a really cool concept! The jump does feel a bit floaty, but overall it was a very fun game! Nice job!
The game was really enjoyable, progressing feels exciting and rewarding, goodjob! the dice mechanic also feels detailed! good job!
