That was fun! I wish it had some music and some SFX to go with the animations but I had a great time. I think the fact you can move during rolling should be a bit more explained (maybe as the first die flies out of the ground) cause I didn't understand until I pushed buttons accidently and saw I could control it. Also good idea to add targets around.

If you wanted to expand on this idea,  I think something really cool could be if you could customize the die that you have to roll, or maybe even add in more dice to get better numbers, though that might make the rolling to hit a target harder. Just an idea so the game has less reliability on luck to do damage. Plus it gives the final good 'ole rpg element of grinding for op gear element.

Good job!

The putting the die in the tumbler is a cool concept, but gets old really fast. I found myself wishing the game was in windowed mode so I could do something else while all the animations played to roll the dice. I also think it's basically a sin any more to have unskippable dialog, so some input there to skip that would be great.

I did like the battle arena, and would have liked to seen what happens if a die hits the target for sure.

These are my thoughts after playing your game:

- The art style is really cute. Definitely the best executed part of this game. Special shoutout to the bear haha.

- The dialogue is pretty funny too. Keep the clever writing coming :)

- I have two issues with the combat system. First: it's way too slow. We don't need to see a long animation for every roll. It should be like max 2 seconds, maybe shorter. I get that the idea is that you control the dice, but it gets a bit tedious, and the dice is a bit too hard to manouver. Secondly: It is not very engaging to have the combat mostly decided by luck. I recommend you checking out Marks video on randomess to get a better idea of what i mean:

Still, good work :)
