I was so happy while playing this game, I'd pay money for this. It's simple but it's just perfect. I am dice man, I roll, I blow things up, dice man gets big, I roll, blow bigger stuff up. That's perfect game design as far as I'm concerned; since you get bigger and more powerful you're just on a constant upward trajectory and its so fun and relaxing. Also, music was jammin the whole time, a lot of games pick looped music that gets annoying pretty quickly but I could probably just play this game on repeat for hours. The only critique I might have is that you don't get score when things fall off the map. That really doesn't detract anything from the gameplay, though, cos there's so much stuff that even if you're like me and keep bulldozing stuff off the map you can still ascend.
TLDR; explosion make happy, good music, rlly fun, 11/10
Reminds me of Katamari, well done !
This is fun!! I liked rolling around a lot, excellent work!
hehehe thank u , rly appreciate it
Nice chill game. The music and the look of the city work well together.
At some point my characters head changed from a d6 to a d8 but I didn't notice when it happened. Guessing I levelled up but it wasn't clear, a particle effect and sound effect could have helped to make it clearer to the player that something has changed.
Awesome job for a first jam game!
yea that's true, honestly that was one of many things we didn't get to add :(
Thank you for the feedback <3
GREAT WORK for a first game, especially in 48 hours! Fun stuff! Keep it up!
that means alot, thank you for playing it.
I had a great time watching your whole stream!
I annihilated those props.
Sadly the cursor fix didn't quite work for me, but I still had my fun regardless! The shock seeing that first asset blow up as I rolled into it was huge. Getting very Katamary Damacy-ey vibes on it, for whatever reason!
Thank youu! I'm not sure why that mouse thing happens, its an itch thing I guess :< Pretty impressive you played without a working camera.
I'm glad you enjoyed the explosions hehe
Playing this was VERY fun!! haha
I remember the old days where I could only roll over small hydrants, time really flies :,)
Nice job, I had a great time playing it!
omg these replies are making my day! Thank you so muchh good job becoming dice god
It was really fun trying to get a big score and destroying all the buildings and getting to ascending, sometimes the rolling felt a bit janky though, but love the chaos!
I'm glad you enjoyed becoming Dice God, ultimate despot of destruction.
Absolute chaos :D Good job mate!
:D aaa thank you!!! Loved your game
1. Explosions are cool, but also blinding and not being able to see the game is bad
2. Game is very haha, this is good
3. Game was fun, even if really janky :)
yea we couldnt fix the explosions in time ;-;
thank you for the haha
lol did not expect such big explosions but still, it was fun!
Yea we tried to fix it but that build just wasn't working out and we didn't have time ;-; Thank you!!
That was actually very therapeutic. Nice one.
lol, I'm glad you think so. Thank you so much!
A chaotic Katamari Damacy-style game. Lacking originality, but still a lot of fun!
I thought of this idea in the shower and went with it so that's fair. Thank you tho!
