How does your submission match the theme?
ODA is 2D puzzle-platformer, which will challenge your "teleportation thinking" and immerse you into calm atmoshpere of retrowave.
But the game itself isn't calm. Be ready to swap anything and everything, avoid or kill your enemies and solve puzzles.
PLEASE, PLAY IN FULLSCREEN MODE!

The game was made for GMTK gamejam in 48 hours by MrJackphil and Sicerat. Gamejam's theme was "Double purpose design", so we created core mechanics all about it: all your activities is connected with your "teleportation balls", that enables you to control movements, positions and sometimes even fates (to die or not to die?) of all kinds of objects around you.

This game is made for browsers.

Cool entry and I didn't realize vaporwave was a thing! The ball physics is a bit hard to control, but when it works it works well and you had the player respawn immediately after dying which helped a lot. Managed to complete that final fiendish puzzle. Nice swapping mechanic!

A lot of bugs and kinks to work out, but a good idea and theme to the game. I really, really dig the art style.

Neat game idea! You really embraced the dual purpose theme! The only complaint I have is that the controls are quite difficult, especially the physics of the teleporter balls. It was quite unpredictable where the balls were going to land.

But I really loved swapping places with the enemies over the red "lava"!

Very nice switching mechanic! I like how you had the player slowly learn the different ways it can be used. Nice music and graphics too!

I like the aesthetic and the mechanics are very interesting! the puzzles are designed well to fit the mechanics, the only problem is the ball is a little hard to aim sometimes.

Excellent game. My only complaint is the difficulty gets out of control really fast. It was especially difficult try to bounce the tiny ball to hit the tiny rocket.

Yep. Ball's behavior is pretty unpredictable. We think to change that in future.

I think this is my favorite game I've played yet for this Jam.

Thank you! We think to improve these ideas and make a complete game.

I'm pretty sure what I'll post something in twitter, so keep in touch (@mrjackphil)
