How does your submission match the theme?
We knew from the start that we wanted an incredibly simply input mechanic. The left stick not only controls your movement but also your attack — an unwieldy flail that grows over time as your kill enemies.
Additionally, certain hazards react to enemy kills.

Challenging, fun game! I included it in my Game Maker Toolkit’s Game Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)
Really excellent Idea!! It's hard to control with keyboard, but playable, can't beat the giant ogre :(
CONGRATULATIONS!
Another improvement (besides the spawn problems sometimes) could be that when you get hit, the size of your ball doesn't reset to the all first stage, just two or three stages. Maybe.
Really neat idea! I love how you can push around big enemies and smack the giant arrows out of the way. Really fun!
Haha, thanks! :D
That's a really cool mechanic! Juggling between swinging your mace effectively and moving out of harm's way at the same time is really fun! There are a few problems with spawning, though, where sometimes enemies would appear in the middle and get stuck on the column, and sometimes even hearts! The laser obstacle was also rather unfair, as it was impossible to react to and difficult to keep track of. Still, it's an amazing idea, good job!
Good feedback, thank you! Yeah, there are definitely some bugs. I'm hoping to sort these out this coming weekend to make the game a bit more playable. :)
