Does the theme 'merge' mean blending in something or combining two things together, currently iam making the blending one and i am afraid i misunderstood the concept..

There are no advantages / penalties for submitting the game early. You can keep making changes up to very end. And fixing critical errors (like missing files) after deadline is permitted.
