Such a deep game to make in such a short timespan! Color me impressed! I didn't have the time to experience all this had to offer, but I really enjoyed the casual loop of inspection. The one thing I think could be better is turning the egg. I found the mouse extremely difficult to use, so I switched to keyboard. The trouble is that the rotation speed doesn't ramp; it's on or off, so I found subtle movements finicky. Anyway, nitpicks aside, really nice job here!

I like the idea of this game, and methodically checking each egg with a system (turn it all around, then turn it the other axis) was relaxing and felt like I was getting into a groove. I also really liked the music, I was humming along to it.

Is there an end goal to it? I quit a couple days in because I didn't want to just keep doing if I had no goal (I have a real job for that).

Also, the one problem I have is that the egg seems to rotate on an odd axis, and doesn't rotate how I feel like it would. It's like the pivot point is placed higher than I expect it to be.

But good job! I really liked this entry and I love the idea, super original!

This definitely felt inspired by Papers Please, so I think you nailed that homage.  I was able to see the cracks in the eggs, but I could have sworn that a few eggs that didn't looked cracked got labeled cracked.    As for the Live Eggs, I got a few failures related to that prior to getting the tutorial lesson (wasn't sure if that was intentional).  Also I had several instances of using the x-ray machine and not seeing a chicken inside, but still getting the message that the egg was live...

I played for quite a while but I wasn't sure if there was a win condition.  Music had a nice chill vibe and the menus and controls were pretty polished.

Very cute game! However, the game felt very fiddly and at times not that challenging. The graphics are cute but the game lacked just a little bit of complexity. If you were to add another dimension of complexity to the game such as having to place them in the correct container and etc. it would really add more to the game. Or even just a timer to create some pacing. In all, I enjoyed the game and it has potential. I'd def recommend continuing this game as I think it can be something great with a bit more complexity.

I didn't want to play at first as it seemed like a real life job, but its actually relaxing, especially after playing some of the harder jam games. I feel like before you buy the x ray device, accepting or discarding live eggs is just guesswork, unless I missed something?

UI and music is really nice. Good job :)

You are the second person telling me they don't see the cracks. Please look at the GIF supplied as game screenshot. Do you ever see this crack in your game? Maybe Linux build doesn't include the textures. Thanks for playing!

I really like the change of pace from many of these submissions, although it actually took two tries for me to really end up enjoying this. It's a chill little game with kind of a psychedelic vibe.

It's made really well for a one week jam, and it's 3D which seems to be a minority. The controls and the UI are simple, good looking and fluid. The music is a bit repetitive but catchy and fitting, I like it.

The only problem I had is that I spent some of my money before the tutorial got to the X-Ray device, so then I didn't have the money to buy it and I couldn't keep the quality because I had no way to check for live eggs. But that's a minor inconvenience, really good game overall!

Interesting idea. Although, I couldn't see the difference between a cracked egg and a good one (even the first one in the tutorial). I wonder how this concept could be expanded upon...
