Congrats on the submission! Very cute game, with some unique ideas and a lovely art style. it would be really cool if level 1 was a tutorial because I found it pretty hard to remember the instructions! Also, my left hand is pretty useless at WASD (lol), so arrow keys would be awesome! Overall, really impressed with the mechanics and look of your game. Great job :)

Very interesting and original game - I enjoyed playing. I appreciated the help screen in the menu part but I kept forgetting what to do. It would be nice to have some tips on the game screen instead to prompt you on how to play? Like hover over something to get a hint of what to do. Anyway, enjoyable game, well done!

Clearly, you put a lot of thought into the mechanics of this game. I can see all of the nuances you went for. Also, the art is cute and cohesive! A real tutorial would have been nice (or even a trailer showing off how the gameplay should look). However, I managed to figure out the order of operations and make it mid-way through level 2 before deciding I wasn't good enough to continue xD

This was a cool idea, and once I understood what was going on I had fun with it. It was fun trying to manage the eggs and think ahead on whether to nest these eggs, or save them to feed my monsters. I also thought that the mixing of paints for colors was a cool idea. I felt really smart when I painted my green egg to yellow and nested it so I could deal with the yellow eggs effectively.

The lack of playtesting probably made the game harder than it should be. I haven't been able to get past level 2, and because losing restarts the whole level, I didn't feel like continuing.

Sometimes, my penguin wouldn't place down the egg or pedestal, and I kept having to spam the spacebar.

I know the the monsters won't attack if they are hungry, but it looks like even if I feed them during the wave they still won't attack. That's how I lost the second time, I started the wave to grab some eggs so I could feed my monsters, but they didn't attack after they were fed.

Also, and I know that this was on a time limit, but this game really needs a tutorial. A 4 page how to play screen is never a good thing. Too much information to remember, and on my first time playing, even after reading, I was still confused. I had to read it again, after I learned how to move around, in order to get it. It really needs a tutorial stage that teaches everything one at a time.
