Definitely an original twist on a cooking game. Awesome restaurant ambience in the background. Feels like I could use some splashing sounds as I drop food into my pan. I agree with studio Haiku that I like to be able to reference to all the food and their color that I have discovered from previous dishes. Like a note pad mechanic would be awesome.
Very nice original idea! Although, I found myself forgetting which ingredient had which traits, even after several uses. I think a viewable catalog of past recipes and their tastes might help players deduce which ingredients to add.
I made a delicious omelette with egg, godot, apple, tomato, banana, orange and got a good score. Then I made an ordinary omelette with egg, tomato, onion, mushroom, salt and pepper and it wasn't well received. How are the scores determined?
Really creative, well done! I love that you can just type anything you think of. The music and atmosphere is pretty good
Thanks! The score is how close the taste is to what the customer was expecting. You can type "taste" to see how the current recipe is tasting and compare to customer expectation. So as example is customer expects purple and your recipe is too blue, you can add something red to make it more purple.
Wow, super impressed with the recipe mechanics you put together.
Very cool idea and the implementation looks really good.
Did you do all the modeling yourself?
Great job, very fun game :D
yeah, actually the models were the factor limiting the amount of ingredients the game has. I plan to keep updating it later to add more stuff. Did you try adding godot to the omelette? =p
Nice, just went back to try it out :)
