Thanks for playing! I definitely need a good sfx bank to use in next games

damn =/ I used Vulkan, maybe it’s a video card issue?

(1 edit)

Thanks for playing it! Yep, the stairs got borked when I resized them because I messed up when sizing the room itself =/

you can press E two times to skip. First time shows text at once, second time skips. If it doesnt work its a bug. sorry if it ended up being too hard. One thing you can do is in the middle of a fight you can go back the door and use percival to regen your hearts and go back to fight. Enemies dont regenerate.

you can damage them when they aren’t hiding, so you have to let them get close and start chasing you. This was a mistake, I should have made them “wake up” when you shoot them instead =/

did you get to finish it?

Thanks for playing!

Interesting idea. But is this about making a new game for that jam, or submitting already complete games?

makes you practically invincible but takes a lot of effort and focus to not stop doing it after some time, so there is a “cost” in gameplay, which in my opinion still keeps it as fair play (like “you can’t rest” your fingers movements)

thank for trying it!

It was supposed to be her embarrassed for being so self-obsessed she actually has collectibles of herself (akin to a king ordering busts of himself to decorate his own room). I’m sorry it ended up sounding otherwise. I know my intonation didn’t help, but, uh…that is actually how I talk…

the game is an endless survival so there is no win, only lose. You see your score when you lose. I could have added counters on the wrists, it would help

Thanks for playing! <3

From behind! Also you dont have to approach them walking, when you get close enough your attack causes a dash

Thanks for playing!

I had personal issues on last weekend and couldnt work on balancing those details, unfortunately. Its more broken than you think haha but thanks for playing!

The “?” sign shows for a fixed time just to let you know the footprints were spotted. I should add an explanation to the page…

That was the intended use for the footprints. Hunters will follow them in visual direction, going to where you actually came from. So it wasnt working?

Hey, thanks!

about your question, is this paid stuff? or unpaid just for hobby?

Thanks for playing!

When you jump, the new floor shows up where you’re facing. If you’re facing up, it will show in a higher level.

Oh, it’s dead simple once you figure out.

Spoiler ahead:

It’s literally where you’re facing. If you’re looking down when you jump, it assumes you’re jumping down and the landing platform shows on lower level. if you’re looking up, it shows higher

Oh ow! It shouldn’t! I swear I placed a check to see if cursor was within the window. What I didn’t check was if the window was in the foreground, though, so that could be the issue :(

Thanks for playing!

They are on the game page:

Arrows to move (Shift to run) Tab to draw weapon back and forth Z X C V for the action

Thanks for playing! =]

Thanks for playing!

As someone who loves hats and collects hats in real life, this was a very legit experience! Hats off to you!

I love Lemmings. This brought me memories!

DAMN!!

I have no access to any Mac machine so I could never know, unfortunately :(

Xandruher is the one to blame for it being beautiful, as they made the models =P

I didn’t have time to dim the buttons when you run out of mana (your mana is shown on the bottle on top left side) so that was the reason the buttons didn’t work - you just didn’t have enough mana

I thought about the witch laughing and making remarks, but didn’t have a voice actress :(

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing it!

Thanks for paying! I ended up forgetting to put the spell costs, also I planned to make the buttons dimmed when you don’t have enough mana but also didn’t have time for that =/ The costs are different, lightning is the most expensive, rock is the cheapest. The other two are in the middle.

Thanks a lot!

About the large empty scenario, the idea was to fill it with objects so you would be travelling through interesting places and NPCs all that way. A bit like how in Assassin’s Creed sometimes you have to walk aaaaaall the city to get to where you want, but because there is a lot of buildings and people, it doesn’t feel boring. That was the idea. But I ran out of time and could not add the objects =(

Thanks!

The bigger world thing is because this is already the 4th game in Stephanie’s universe, the other 3 were also jam games. They are explained in the game page ( https://madparrot.itch.io/dustblast-gwj60 )

Thanks for playing! You got significantly close to the end! All you had to do was to talk to Marta again at that point, and you would be ale to use your blaster and hunt bugs

I found a bug: if you’re in the quest to find Rob, do not enter any door. Entering a house and leaving makes Rob disappear forever and you have to start the game over.

Hit space!

Thanks!

The same button you use to take off also works as brake and you can use that to hover. I guess you didn’t try to brake then. That is actually the best animation of the whole game.

Also in dialogues pressing (X) (or [E]) during typing makes the sentence appear fully instantly, exactly like every other game. Odd it didn’t work for you.

But thanks for playing!

WASD contorl is a bit less than optimal because the limited time I had to calibrate controls I had to split between keyboard and controller. Controller is <italian chef hand gesture> btw, try that out

Thanks! I actually wrote a guide on where to find each of the parts, check that out if you get lost

It does gain speed! The thing is you are so small compared to the scenario you can’t really feel the speed gain (the bird would feel in the air pressure in the wings, naturally).

I thought about adding some visual wind trails in the tips of the wings to help visualize that, but was rushing with time and put that aside.

*** I HAVE ADDED SPOILERS TO THE GAME PAGE FOR ANYONE WHO CAN’T FIND THE PARTS ***

Thanks! Actually the parser probably broke on the “Lorgoth’s” part. “By the great name of Lorgoth” probably works

That’s why you have backspace to look behind!

amazing idea!

(1 edit)

thanks!

The problem with that sentence is “the great” is not interpreted as a title, but as starting a new subordinate sentence or something like that, e.g. “by the power of Lorgoth, the great…” and the parser goes like “the great what? The great meal is about to be served? The great doom is near? Finish your sentenceaaaaaaaargh” and gives up the sentence lol

“by the power of the great Lorgoth” works though
