You kept your pet very clean then =p
if you leave the litter around for too long, the pet gets sick
you can press E two times to skip. First time shows text at once, second time skips. If it doesnt work its a bug. sorry if it ended up being too hard. One thing you can do is in the middle of a fight you can go back the door and use percival to regen your hearts and go back to fight. Enemies dont regenerate.
It was supposed to be her embarrassed for being so self-obsessed she actually has collectibles of herself (akin to a king ordering busts of himself to decorate his own room). I’m sorry it ended up sounding otherwise. I know my intonation didn’t help, but, uh…that is actually how I talk…
the game is an endless survival so there is no win, only lose. You see your score when you lose. I could have added counters on the wrists, it would help
Xandruher is the one to blame for it being beautiful, as they made the models =P
I didn’t have time to dim the buttons when you run out of mana (your mana is shown on the bottle on top left side) so that was the reason the buttons didn’t work - you just didn’t have enough mana
I thought about the witch laughing and making remarks, but didn’t have a voice actress :(
Thanks for playing!
Thanks a lot!
About the large empty scenario, the idea was to fill it with objects so you would be travelling through interesting places and NPCs all that way. A bit like how in Assassin’s Creed sometimes you have to walk aaaaaall the city to get to where you want, but because there is a lot of buildings and people, it doesn’t feel boring. That was the idea. But I ran out of time and could not add the objects =(
Thanks!
The bigger world thing is because this is already the 4th game in Stephanie’s universe, the other 3 were also jam games. They are explained in the game page ( https://madparrot.itch.io/dustblast-gwj60 )
Thanks!
The same button you use to take off also works as brake and you can use that to hover. I guess you didn’t try to brake then. That is actually the best animation of the whole game.
Also in dialogues pressing (X) (or [E]) during typing makes the sentence appear fully instantly, exactly like every other game. Odd it didn’t work for you.
But thanks for playing!
It does gain speed! The thing is you are so small compared to the scenario you can’t really feel the speed gain (the bird would feel in the air pressure in the wings, naturally).
I thought about adding some visual wind trails in the tips of the wings to help visualize that, but was rushing with time and put that aside.
