Game Description
The Hunter-Gatherer is harvester roguelike created during the Godot Wild Jam #29, with the theme "nomad". In it, you take the role of a hunter-gatherer who is constantly moving and exploring new procedurally generated and tile-based levels to gain resources. If you don't collect enough (50) food per level, you will lose. You can also collect other resources such as ore and logs that you can sell in the shop in order to buy more either more food or powerful and probably unbalanced upgrades. The shop will have a small chance to appear after you finish a level. There is also a blizzard on your tail, meaning you only have a limited amount of time in each level, so you have to take quick and strategical decisions about which resources to collect and prioritize, ensuring you get as many resources as possible without losing. The snow and music will warn you when the blizzard is getting too close (along with a handy timer).

I enjoyed playing but I did feel confused a few times since it seemed like the win screen for each level had the same white fade out as the blizzard lose-screen.    it was really fun trying to clear-cut every level and I was happy when I finally found a shop to start buying upgrades.  I'd definitely be interested in playing more levels or checkout out different kinds of upgrades if you decide to keep working on this. Nice entry :)

Felt like a pretty novel idea. I got to the point where I could purchase all 3 upgrades during a store visit and then called it quits. But getting to that point was fun. I just wish there was more to do. Maybe more upgrades or a slow difficulty ramp. Overall though, it was a solid Jam entry. ^^

Funky little game, not bad! It took a long time to get any upgrades though..

Fun concept - perhaps you can add a bonus level with treasure! Well done on the submission.

I like that idea. I would have really liked to add more variety to the levels but ultimately decided against it. Now that the jam is over, I might start working on adding extra variants of levels that appear every once in  a while.

Longest I've played a submission so far. The upgrades made it engaging, as I wanted to unlock everything. I liked the artwork and music as well. Nice work!
