I really liked the alternate take on the theme (an ancient tradition) and also liked the implementation of a card drafting game (which I tend to be a bit of a sucker for)
It would have been great to have an in-game tutorial (perhaps that guides you through a basic fight) I can appreciate that it's quite a stretch for a week long jam though, so perhaps a text reminder somewhere of what the different icons on the cards mean?  I would have found that really helpful.
I like the art style and drawings on the cards, giving a sense of individuality to the different clowns.  When picking my clowns initially, it would have been great to know how many choices I have left or maybe be able to pick multiple cards from a single set of four presented.
I liked the random events and that fighting wasn't your only option - that's a feature I really appreciated in the things like "Slay the Spire", adding a lot of variety to encounters so it was great to see it here to!

Wow, I did not expect a card drafting game!  This is amazing.

I like how there are random events you can encounter, and the village gives you choices to rest / draft / upgrade your clown cards.

I did not really know the meta going in, but it's nice you have many opportunities to add to your deck.

There were a few mechanics that I think weren't explained (i.e., summoning sickness), but since I've played other drafting card games before, I could pick that up easily.  I'm not sure if someone new to card drafting would have a easy time though.

It's really impressive that you put this together during the jam.  Kudos!

I really like the idea and the card game mechanics (and I'm a sucker for deckbuilder games too), but the game could really use a lot of polish.

Obviously, the graphics are very limited, but not having sound makes the experience feel very flat and much harder to tell what's going on.

Starting the game off with a couple of events before I could even get into one fight is not the best idea, since I had no idea how the game played. Nor is it starting out with a draft for much the same reason: having a tutorial fight before either of those things would help tremendously. When I finally got into the first fight, it was against a boss that just spammed webs, so it was a slow-going and frustrating fight, until I gave up because of boredom.

I think you could have an interesting game if you worked further (much further) on it, and I encourage you to do so!
